  1. Yep all you needed to do was over write the sections in the cfg file with what I posted or you can use MeCripp's modulemanager cfg file. I should have thought of doing so myself but forget not everyone is comfortable with modifying cfg files. There any rule against posting some custom welded parts? I made a goo and materials bay I wouldn't mind sharing until the official ones are released.

  3. Wanted to say thanks for a great mod. Ive made a few tweaks myself such as adding extra nodes to the frame to make sideways stacking and allow surface attachment. This is just to perfect for nailing on the side of a rover to pass up. I was wanting to ask if there where any plans on adding more science modules as I was considering trying to make my own but figured Id ask what you guys where planing on first.
  4. It sounds like what your saying Lonerider is that you can switch between craft, and recover just fine but the Kerbals are MIA? If that's the case the issue could be how Kerbals where changed in the new release.
  5. Was wanting to see if I could get some help with making a custom config folder for LLL. I THINK I have everything set up correctly according to the documentation but I still am unable to get the textures to actualy switch, display name of tank to show up, or get Kethane to show up in the editor. Last I think might be a kethane issue since the other tanks show up. Once I get it working on one tank Im sure I can get it working on all. Any thing I over looked?   6. Just a question is there nay issues with Tweakscale? I can make the changes myself but I just want to make sure there wont be any issues down the line and loose crafts in flight.
  7. Any word on the decision to go with Tweekable scale or the firesplitter texture/fuel changer? I understand that they conflict a bit but even if you went with just one it would cut down on clutter add new features. No rush just wanted to see if you had made a decision yet.
  8. So while I was playing around with Steams new music player while I was waiting on a pod to re-enter from orbit when it looped to the Portal album on shuffel and started to play Still Alive. Then I had the idea "What would happen if the Kerbals ever discovered GLADOS at Aperture science? Who would survive? Science gathering AI or the the booster exploding Kerbals?"

What Im suspecting is that Boing had the political pressure (dont tell me you didnt see the politics in the briefing)but they have a habit of going over budget and deadline on government contracts, so they are also going with Space X as a stick to beat them with if they dont stick to the guidelines. "Oh your late/over budget? Well Space X is doing it on LESS money maybe we should just go with THEM!..."
  12. KSPAPIExtensions is used only for the VAB/SPH gui, and the version string in all guis. New applicants come quite frequently if there's room in the list (and unwanted ones leave after a few days). Do note that sub-assemblies are "use at your own risk". This is because fuel-lines and struts do not work properly yet. However, if they have neither fuel-lines nor struts, then sub-assemblies should work. You know reading this I was wondering would there be any way to have it build individual parts that have KAS gradable module like from a bin? This would be darn handy to have for sticking new experiments on older rovers, building new small rovers on site or replacing the small parts Jeb breaks by being himself lol...
  13. Hey Devo its been a month and thought Id stop by and see if anything going on. You know your site is getting hit by spam bots posting in the forums? @maxrsp sorry for late reply but the issue is the Eagle is just so darn twitchy that is basically a requirement for use on Kerban. Ive only been able to fly it without Mech-Jeb on low grave worlds like Mun or Duna.
  14. Nice. A stable crane for loading probes and such into a space plain is badly needed. Though I think something along the lines of a gantry crane would be inherently more stable.

  17. Wow "never released"? anything we might be able to get our hands on some time? Bobcats rovers basically the best sets around.

  19. Nice. Ill look through to see what things I have updated and kept in my folders. When the patches come out I tend to just upgrade the things I like to work with the new patch or delete if the plugin has been abandoned.
  20. Maybe take the same as Bobcat and appoint a few volunteers as dedicated updaters for old parts. Heck Logan basically is doing that for the Eagle already.
  21. There is no "right" configuration this is just a collection of parts that can be used. Either that's the only way he could get the open animation to work or he was testing something and forgot to undo it. Its no biggie.
