i decided to take the leap guys. its been at least 4 years since last i slung a kerbal around. I stopped because of feared mod incompatibility. Well, the ones I am using seem to be working just fine, the only one that seemed to want an update was mechjeb2 and after poking my computer a bit to reveal its secrets of where the heck i put the mod and stuff like that, i put a fresh up to date MJ into the game and guys oh my god how much I have forgotten!!! I still have not touched my primary save opting instead to make a dummy save to see what works, what breaks and how much i remember so i dont risk my main save. just wow guys. just wow! i feel like im new all over again. kinda refreshing, kinda irritating all at once, knowing that deep inside me is the memory of how this stuff works and the frustration of not being able to make my fingers do what they should know by heart to do. i guess this is how the elderly feel? wish me luck yall. best part? my primary mod other than MJ procedural fairings? they work!!! 014601082025

i am becoming very frustrated by elite dangerous. I LOVE exploring, but, I want to get into combat on foot. To do that, I need to upgrade and engineer my suits and weapons. To do THAT I need to unlock certain engineers. To do THAT I need to get materials such as Genetic Repair Meds. Well, to get these meds, I need to go into settlements on the ground, I need to visit certain buildings to steal them. To steal them requires either suits kitted for stealth or suits and weapons kitted for battle. Well its a real catch 22 here, to do what I need to do I need to be engineered, but I am not engineered yet in the ways I need to be. To get that engineering I need weapons or suits or both that are engineered... I have been beating my head into a WALL for the last 2 weeks trying to get 5 genetic repair meds for an engineer so they can refer me to the one i actually need. but you guessed it, i cant BUY these stupid things because they are stupid rare, and stupid hard to get to. its disheartening to be frank. sorry to rant but what else can i do? 234101072025

this post very nearly earned itself the negative thread. i am going to sound dramatic, but, this was very nearly catastrophic. my very life flashed before my eyes a few minutes ago. See, I was playing MLB The Show 24 and decided to swap over to watch something on Disney+. Well, Disney+ glitched out and didnt log in. I cut the app off on my PS5 and went to relaunch it. If at first it fails, try again right? This is where I thought my world just up and caught fire. See when I went to relaunch the app, my screen went dark as it does, but then it just FROZE. It wouldnt change. I shut my ps5 off, and nothing, still glowing darkness <LCD screen what can i say?>. I changed feeds to my cable box on a different HDMI cable. Still no change. I thought my TV up and died. Turns out, that tv glitched and glitched HARD. It is NOT a smart TV thank the stars. I tried everything I could think of. Turn the tv on and off. no change. swap HDMI ports, no change. Plug the cable box into a different port, still nothing. I sat there staring at an oddly glowing tv thinking that I am about to be forced into buying a new tv, one that very well may need an internet connection to work at all <i really do not want that, spectrum is sketchy enough with its internet, i dont need it to take my tv out when the internet goes down. When the internet goes down, I watch dvds and if a smart tv cant hear the internet then theres a chance it wont even let me watch stuff offline let alone my cable. I hate that thought. worse yet, spectrum hard corded my wifi antennas off because my cable modem/wifi unit is 1 unit and nearly 7 years old, so they are TRYING to force me into gear that is 2 items with less reliability... I nearly started crying from the stress. Getting back on topic, something hit me. I dont know if it was my friend who passed away in august of 2020 <im an atheist and dont believe in the supernatural so, i cant say what provoked the thought> reaching out from beyond to do what he always did best, calm my stupid butt down for 20 seconds to hard stop the tv by literally pulling its plug. Sure enough, pulling the plug full killed the tv and its back to normal. what ever normal around me is. Let this be a lesson: When in doubt TURN UNPLUG IT! I know we all know that adage of turn it off/on to see if THAT fixes it, well, guys, what works on our phones, our computers, our consoles, works on our TV's as well. I have a theory as to why cheaters in pokemon go are not punished and its made me lose any respect i may have had left for it. The support department is either run by bots or the staff is wholly incapable of reading and comprehending the written english language. What do I mean? Well, in the spoiler below is the exact report i give minus the name of the player i am reporting. You will note I open and close mentioning the act i am reporting for. Gps spoofing in this case. The reply I get is usually 1 of 3. One stating they will punish if a player is found to be violating. Uh no they dont do squat. Next is one stating they have received and kicked it up to a higher team. Same thing nothing happens. The one that tells me its bots or illiteracy? See spoiler 2 for a DIRECT copy/paste I should add that i put up a wall of GPS SPOOFING after the auto reply that my ticket is submitted. If you mean that warp upwards in the middle? Its because the trays go into an industrial dishwasher that has water thats near 200°F for sanitization purposes. It triggers the plastic of cheap trays to weaken then warp as they cool. 1015010420

Im getting sick of fast food employees not asking 2 basic questions and assuming answers. The 2 basic questions? 1. If a credit card is used: would you like the receipt? (The ok assumption is yes. Better to have and not need than need and not have). 2. Do you want ketchup? I dont mind it but i cant stand packets of it. What do they assume 85%+ of the time? No to the first yes to the second. i am getting more and more irritated and disenfranchised by pokemon go and the alleged rules enforcement that game says it has. I am seriously considering quitting it. I know I have said that before, but, after reporting the same 2 players north of 100 times for breaking the rules, namely the following rule from section 3 subsection 3.1 of their terms of service: "Using any techniques to alter or falsify a device’s location (for example through GPS spoofing)". I witnessed these 2 players do exactly this, got video documentation OF the incident, gave it to their support staff and these 2 players <one of whom is breaking another rule regarding the use of shared or having multiple accounts with proof of that as well> and they refuse to ban these players. Cheat in a single player game all you like. Cheat in one where you are playing against other humans? NO! I have been considering whether or not to file a complaint with the attorney general of my state and california where pokemon go is head quartered <for more than the fact they wont ban the cheaters which violates the contractual agreement of the terms of service>, but, the fact that you can simply google how to cheat and not get banned and get hundreds of results sickens me. I hate it. I have played pokemon go since 2019 and the joy is being taken away by cheaters and people in power refuse to do anything about it. I have been stalked by players, harassed by players, and cannot enjoy the game because of the cheaters and reported this all to them yet they do nothing. SO, I ask this: should I just delete the game or keep fighting a sisyphean battle knowing that the cheaters are ultimately going to go unpunished and I am just going to lose my mind? Also, for the mods: i have no other place to vent to, and ive kept this as benign as i can redacting certain details to keep this in the realm of venting and asking for advice. 110812242024
