[Airships in 1.12.3] HooliganLabs Mods
Fizwalker replied to JewelShisen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I admit... I was skeptical at first when I saw this.... and then.... I had this vision.... A vision of a floating base in Jools atmosphere....... Where ships can land and take off..... And I said: "This needs to be made, for all Kerbalkind!" Many Kerbals will perish in this endeavor, but it must be done! Also...Sky cranes of Kerbin. Looks very interesting! Going to go play in my sandbox with this now! Thanks for the interesting mod! -
Probably. Nothing in the first post saying that the guys maintaining this are leaving (One of them, NathanKell works for Squad, soooo.......), or that they are looking for someone to take over the mod.... And have been since 1.0 at least. Normally though it takes them a little bit to get it updated (This isn't their only mod, so it gets done in the order they do them.) Oh they're very good at keeping the community informed if they're not going to work on a project further. I am sorry if I sounded like a prick earlier, I misread your post.

KSP 1.2 isn't even released yet. Only the pre-release version is up for download, and that changes daily. There isn't a point in updating it yet. With that in mind, we'll see it after 1.2 is officially released, and when Crzyrndm has the time to do the work.

Have you updated Module Manager to the latest version? (Should be at least version 2.6.25)

[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
Fizwalker replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Thomas, in case no one has said it recently, thank you very much for all the work (and fun!) you've put into this! We appreciate it! -
I had this issue too. Be sure you have the most up to date version of MM. It should be version 2.6.24. (I see that 2.6.25 has been released yesterday). Otherwise, Crzyrndm will need the MM Cache file and the Output log.

This might seem like an odd question... But has anyone tried using V0.11.0 in KSP 1.0.5? But I've decided to play 1.0.5 while I wait for adjustable landing gear to be updated..... Thank you for your help!
-
Okay, that was the issue. I believe that's the first time I've had an issue due to MM being not the latest version. So I ran it with MM 2.6.24 and it works nicely. Sorry to have cluttered up the thread with this.

I edited my original report with the output log

Still doing great work buddy! I've done some tests in the SPH for 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. It seems to work in the first, but definitely doesn't in 1.1.2. In 1.1.2, I can attach the wing to the fuselage, but I cannot alter the shape. (The controls do not work.), nor is the tweakable for changing the fuel tanks working (All it shows is the button for the next configuration, but no fuel or oxidizer) This only applies to 1.1.2. I have to get ready for work, but I'll see if I can find a log file for you and a screenshot after I get off. Edit: Here are the output logs, however, MM didn't generate a cache file (I'm using MM 2.6.23 though I've seen it in other installs, notably KSP 1.0.5 (and MM2.6.18). I am puzzled a little by why not here. Only thing I can think of is because P-Wings is the only mod installed) Also, as you will see in the log I am using 64bit though with 1.1.2 I don't see why that would matter

Thank you for this mod! After I came across this, I've found that it's one of my must haves for when I crash.... errr build my planes. (Frankly I wonder why I even bother with landing gear.... >.>) That said, I would like to put a vote in for gear that retract about 90 degrees from your current set-- Ones that fold up like on most WWII fighters (Spitfires, Hurricanes, Mustangs, etc). Regardless of the request, this mod is awesome!

Is there a mod that you couldn't live without?
Fizwalker replied to Foxster's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Kerbal Alarm Clock. Timing is everything..... Not saying I would quit playing if it wasn't there.... But I might not play as much. Oh yeah NavyFish's Docking mod.... Yeah, I could go without one or the other, but not both. I certainly would wait for either to be updated. -
I think I speak for many when I say that we are highly anticipating the update to this mod. I also think that I speak for many when I thank you very much and greatly appreciate the work you've done to keep this current. I know I sound like a politician here, but I hope that people like this post as a way of showing appreciation instead of cluttering up the thread! Thank you for your work, a lot of us were very disappointed when it disappeared before you took up maintaining this! Thank you again! P.S. If others like, send me your post for this and I will edit and post your thoughts in this post so it is easier for crzyrndm to see them. (I'll even credit the person who sends me the addition! Seriously though, I'll credit the update!)

Kerbal Space Program update 1.1 “Turbo Charged” is now available!
Fizwalker commented on KasperVld's article in Developer Articles
Wait... My 16 Gigs of ram is going to be able to be used in Windows....? *Cries* Thank you Squad! And here I was about to download the mods for RSS! -
S! Shot Down by a Hurricane was one of the first WillyTee cartoons I saw (and still my favorite)! I never got into a vid (or comic) myself, but one of my squaddies did (Squidrd). But yeah, I'm with you I haven't seen much in the way of 'hate' here. In WWIIOL I stayed off the forums!
-
This thread kinda reminded me of this: (Yes, I used to play WWIIOL...and WillyTee cartoons rock!) Seriously though I haven't seen anything like true hate on these forums.... Much poodleing about things, but not hate. It's actually a pleasure to talk on here.... Speaking for myself, I have found this community to be the best I've found online. The game isn't perfect but I'm glad that Squad has handled it the way it has. Upon reading the title to this thread I was expecting a rant hating on something.... But I was pleasantly disappointed in that expectation. Kudos!
