  1. I could make you some nice infographics with graphs if you give me equations that govern the rules in Kerbalism. Kerbin and Jool certainly, but I'm not sure about the rest.
  2. I'm ok with spherical magnetosphere, but I'm interested in its structure. What's the shape of its cross section? Border, ring, ring with variable density? Or something else?
  3. Suggestion for the webpage layout - add "updated on YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM" info.
  4. No. The amounts of matter it could collect in reasonable time are laughable.
  5. Except if it's, like, 50 years. Because I might be dead by then.
  6. Is there some kind of tutorial or help page on Kerbalism? All I see is wiki which is rudimentary and descriptive only. For example, I'd like to know more about the magnetospheres. What shape is it, how large, etc....
  7. Plausible, but what if the mantle recycling is dead or almost dead? There are abominable amounts of water in terrestrial planets bonded inside their lithospheres.
  8. The cost is a lot smaller if you use hydrogen, just be careful to ground yourself to avoid static electricity because, you know, kaboom.
  9. Some time ago, I tried to interest the KSP forum community to launch such high altitude weather balloon probe with a 3D printed Jebediah on it. It failed miserably. Oh well. ;_;
  10. There's probably plenty of water bonded in the lithosphere of Venus as hydrates. Not much, but way more than there is present in free form in atmosphere.
  11. With the state of journalism today, The Onion is not a parody anymore.
  12. Kron 6 (probably Plock-Karen mission) will probably use Kerbalism mod instead of TAC. Check it out.
  13. I had a few crashes while attempting to hover over some parts in VAB. I don't know if that helps...
  14. I am considering this mod to be the next life support mod for my Kron missions. The concept is something I always wanted, and would include into stock game as hard mode.
  15. I've noticed the mod has way better plume response at high altitudes. Well done. It's a really nice mod and should be stock.
  16. I'm patiently waiting for Kopernicus and OPM to update. 64-bit situation will unleash a bunch of new missions.
  17. Yes, hopefully this mod will rise again. It should be stock game behaviour.
  18. Orbits look whacked with their apoapsis and periapsis markers and the navball is enormous (when you downscale it to 80%, other stuff looks kind of tiny), but all in all it looks neat. Good work.
  19. No, it can not be possible. Chlorine will not spontaneusly form in any natural environment and it sure as hell won't accumulate. It's one of the most powerful oxidizers. It wants that last electron so bad and it will wreck pretty much anything it comes in contact with just to get it.
  20. Destructive action only. Are you sure there isn't any fluorescence involved?
  21. Human eye can respond to a train hitting it, travelling at 150 km/h, but it doesn't mean that "being hit by a 150 km/h train has color". Being blasted by ionizing rays will cause destructive phenomena to occur in both out sensoring and processing units. You're contradicting yourself there. If the color is a perception of light, then its absence can't be color. It's like saying bald people have a type of haircut, or atheism is a religion. Color is our brain's reaction when its input device is exposed to light. If there is no light acting, there is no response. Therefore it can not be called a color in a physical or physiological sense. I repeat, it can be called a color in artistic sense, but that's art and not applicable to science.
  22. If we dig down like that, we'll get to solipsism and that's useless. You're turning it into a philosophical issue. Plusck said it right. Thank you.
  23. Yeah, those optical devices gather much more light and we're the measure.
