  1. Floor 594: You see a factory assembling Kerbals, you go up a level....
  2. I have an Idea, let's just attach like tons of fuel and nuclear engines and send this thing plummeting towards the sun, or jool. Since this thread is dying out, finish it with a big bang.
  3. Dude this thing looks amazing. Can you show us the center of mass and the center of lift, and maybe more pics of it flying?
  4. So I was just thinking, is it possible for something humongous to be in orbit and you will be ABLE TO SEE IT FROM THE GROUND? Will it be out of the physics range so it won't be rendered? or is it possible?
  5. This is the Hercules MMU (manned maneuvering unit) Mk-7, the latest in Kerbal Mobility ingenuity. This is a Jetpack that allows for extended Space walks with greater range and capabilities, such as rolling on it's side, a docking port, and a way of transporting small amounts of RCS to other crafts. It contains a RTG (warrenty does not cover accidents), 80 units or RCS, a external command seat, a probe for SAS, multiple RCS ports, and a Jr. Docking Port. http://www./view/jceupfc5zln1u75/Hercules_MMU_MK-7.craft The craft attached to the Kerbal X-2. In orbit ready for use, Kenlong assigned for a craft inspection. Ok all systems are go, RCS ports clear, gyros clear, re-orienting craft... Ok Kenlong bring yourself right in front of the cabi- OH JEEZ! ...1 and a half hours later... Ok Kenlong, dock the MMU back to the Service module and end the mission.
  6. You should test the rest when you have time, I found your report interesting.
  7. Is the Atlas V suppose to be missing a SRB?
  8. So I often find myself using all my EVA fuel and i'm stranded, or I don't have enough fuel to travel from place to place. Also one design flaw in the EVA jetpacks is that it cannot roll on its side, so you often find yourself trying to get onto a sideways capsule. This MMU has a small probe on it for SAS and has the ability to roll, giving it more maneuverability over than the EVA suits. Introducing the Hercules jet pack Mk.7 -Craft file: http://www./download/jt5312exkjob00f/Hercules_Jetpack_MK_7.craft It contains: -1 Radioisotope Thermometric Generator (RTG) -2 Stratus-V Roundified Monopropellant Tank (Round RCS tanks carrying 40- of monopropellant each) ... 80-of monopropellant. -1 Probodobodyne OKTO -4 Place Anywhere 7 Linear RCS Ports -2 RV-105 RCS Thruster Block -1 Clamp-O-Tron Jr. -1 EAS-1 External Command Seat I recommend keeping SAS on for this craft. Space Station inspection- I made a modded MMU with a arm on it a long time ago, but now this was the only surviving image. The MMU is the object on the left attached to the command capsule. And... here's my Aquila Space Station Here's the (current) space station in a 120km orbit This is the Phobos 5 Launcher and the Deimos Tug that carried every single piece of the space station into orbit and docked with it. This is the Pieces V with the Cassiopeia II Crew Transport Vehicle and Crew Launcher. This is Pieces V, It carries a 3 man crew, able to reach orbit, re-enter and land safely, and dock the the Aquila Space Station. (120-121 km up) I will be launching... -MMU -Ion Engines (re-boosters for the space station) -Science Module/Equipment -Comm- Array -more solar panels -[Post your ideas down below) Also Yes, this was a old post from a while ago, but I wanted to bring this back to attention with new content.
  9. I had the same thing happen to my ship, but I figured it out. Usually (clipped) cubic octagonal struts will make the ship glitch. (no control in turning/ makes docked objects spin out of control)
  10. Introducing the Vampire B2, A mere 24 parts, this plane is very agile and fast, exceeding speeds up to 200 meters per second. She ain't a big bird, but she's very easy to fly and takes off like a dime, although landing can be a slight tricky, and I haven't tested the exact range of this plane, this plane is the perfect beginner plane. (Flies well at low/ medium altitudes)http://www./view/q5n5pgvodhayo2t/Vampire_B2.craft
  11. Post some picture of the cargo-copter flying
  12. Kinda, this is what all R-7 launch pad uses, well maybe except for the French R-7's, Maybe I'll make a Soyuz R-7 and add crew platforms and umbilical struts.
  13. So I decided to start making a Space Station. But I really don't see an important use in space stations, I mean refueling rockets and space planes are useful but I just think it takes too much fuel to even reach the station. Why not just start your mission instead? Or maybe storing crew..... Until more science equipment comes out, there's no use for space stations except to store crew... If you have any ideas on what to put on a station/why I should have a station/ or pictures of your station, post below.
  14. I use custom launch towers/clamps every rocket I use. 1. they look cool 2. getting the engines started before liftoff without losing any fuel(using fuel on the launch clamps) My R-7 rocket carrying Sputnik 1, all engine are running(STATUS: MAIN) and ready for lift off. Lift off of the R-7 carrying Sputnik 1, Launch clamps halfway retracting. After the rocket cleared the launch pad... There's a little tilt to the clamps...
  15. Can you make a version without excess weight?(the ascetic parts)
  16. Nice, it looks kinda unstable, but looks awesome.
  17. I spent like 20 second hovering and moving my mouse cursor on and away from your avatar.
