I added bass to SolarLiners EARLY WIP build of the intro music. Here it is: Amundsen's theme [WIP bass boost and reverb] Link apparently broken? SolarLiner if you want me to take this down ask and I can. Everyone note that this is extremely early in production quoting SolarLiner.

I just added a little segment about music for the intro. Here's a paste in of what I put in the doc (link to doc): MUSIC OPINIONS: Hey Avera9eJoe here. I’ve been trying to pin down a track that sounds like what I imagine for the intro but I’m having troubles. , and give me your opinions on these three tracks. - I’m not sure about this one’s style, but I would like a melancholy piano intro - doesn’t have a good build up or an abrupt stop. I still like the piano though. - has a good ending but builds way too much for a "peaceful and desolate" scene of the Arctic with the crew trudging along.

Sounds good. I wrote the intro script elaborated off Vagani's script earlier in this thread. The doc has pretty simple organization as you've seen. Best of luck writing! Just make sure it's well explained .

I don't know about everyone elses action groups but for me, I always use group 1 for solar panels and action group 2 for ladders. The rest fluctuate between crafts. A suggestion for action groups I have. The ability to assign a key to the "control from here" function so I can hit an action group to swap between control positions. I also agree it would be handy for a "action group swap" key to change group order.

XD yeah that's 3 AM here in Washington so no I can't make that... Carry on without me though. I'm mainly just going to revise review and offer ideas to the script you all come up with. It worked well for the intro scene in the Google doc. Speaking of which, if you want people to edit the document and view it more I suggest you link it on the first page. Also I see that 'Anonymous' added The Jedi Master to the bottom of the list. I suppose that was you Jedi. Sorry I forgot!

The lyrics do call for two people... even more for the choir possibly...

Are you in need of a cargo plane? I redid my Spruce Moose (Though it reminds me of a fox... I might rename it). It's now version IV. I may be using it in a video I make myself but if you don't mind, you can use it too . I'm still reinforcing the wings so if you want a download just ask. -
Oh WHAAAAAACKJOB! Where is that fellow... Oh well. I usually build my rockets about 400-500 parts on launch and 200 or so when in orbit. This means my stations are about 600 parts when I build then but I wouldn't dare higher. Planes are about 150 ish parts (unless it's a cargo plan in which case 250). Rovers are usually about 50. Part count isn't always correlated to computer status though. I actually stream and run mu own YouTube channel though so... You don't necessarily need a high end computer to stream.

My first manned moon landing reminds of of yours! When I joined there wasn't career mode (only two years ago) and so I researched about the monoliths on the moon and attempted to land a mini-base by the Armstrong memorial right off the bat. I also had a "high-tech" flying rover attached on the bottom which used RCS to hover. Regardless of the rover I forgot a fuel line and the thing ran out of fuel 50 meters up... It sort of bounced, gave a little protesting creak, and tipped over... After a day of thought I realized I could still saved the pilots! The lander was a little base with a return stage mounted on top and a rover mounded on the bottom. I decoupled the tipped over return stage and the rover. Now I have a return stage on its side and a flying rover next to it. THIS is where I get creative. I realize all I need to get off the ground is a little jump. THE ROVER! I flip the rover upside-down and position it directly in front of the sideways lander using the RCS I mounted on it. At this point I have a make shift ramp in front of the return stage. I fire the engines and SOMEHOW I manage to bounce off the rover jump and return to Kerbin. PHEW! Regardless of my fun story, I'm sure I'm just one of many who have had moments like this in KSP. This game has so many ways to do something you can find that if your original mission doesn't go planned, you can usually perform a crazy stunt and get yourself out of the mess a different way. A word of advice though, don't do everything you possibly can as fast as possible, or you'll find yourself at a loss of stuff to do in the future. Take your time and enjoy every aspect of the game rather than blasting through it. It was awesome to read your story, and I HOPE you have more in the future. Later!

There's an old mod that you can use to edit the music scenes in KSP. I've experimented with it but because of it's partially annoying interface I've stopped using it. It maight be useful to you though! Here's a link to it. I really wish it had the ability to set music for the surface of planets or during reentry but it only has the scenes that are stock to KSP. Blizzy (The modder who created toolbar) has said that he could make a music plugin that would have more customizable scenes but I haven't heard any news on that for a while.

Awesome job . That was an intense movie scene, and a matching remake!
-
Yeah that is a pretty cool picture. I'd love to look at a copy!

Alright the MASTER is here!

I have no issue with people saying to subscribe them. I'd say people do it almost out of tradition then any other reason. As a YouTuber myself I actually don't usually say to like or subscribe me at the end of my videos. I instead have a 0.2 second long text saying "Avera9eJoe out" at the VERY end of every video. You have to look for it to see it :3. Yesh.

Where'd you get those lense flares and sunset! Awesome job on the effects. I wish I knew of your channel sooner...

[0.25] Astronomer's Visual Pack - Interstellar V2
HafCoJoe replied to Astronomer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I run stock parts and use only visual enhancers (Plus atmospheric trajectories) so that's probably why I can run fine. Yeah I would get more ram but I don't have the slot, OR the matching system XD. I don't know if I'll make one in stream but if I decide to model a plane off of an F-302, I'll send you a link . Anyways back on topic... I love the planet glow for sure. -
[0.25] Astronomer's Visual Pack - Interstellar V2

Well I stream and run my own YouTube channel with only 4 GB so I don't exactly agree with your first sentence, but you are saying I should have a PC with 8 GB ram to run this properly from what I get. I should be getting a better computer in the nearing future, so this info is very useful. Thanks! - Oh and as to your forum title, that's a cool fighter plane. I might use that as some concept... -

If I'm running on 4 GB of 64 bit windows*, how would this run... *Not that 64 bit matters with 4 GB -
Okay Biomes are still in. I don't know if they mentioned anything about that in the stream. I didn't make it . I didn't see the UI post you had in the OP, oops! About the part Hugo made, I know there's no chance of that coming in stock (especially since they removed that size of fuselage entirely), I'm just curious if it will be brought forwards to a mod at all. As to the IVAs for the other parts, I'm not saying they are coming in this update (H*** no that's early! It'd me mentioned by now it it was.). It's just I've heard absolutely no indications of Squad even revisiting them. So U'm wondering if there's any news of that. Thanks for your clear ups! Have some rep o/

Reworked fuel transferring! Kerbal XP! New buildings! No orbit indicators at the start (This could mean PLENTY of awesome new challenges)! An initial part count limiter (Again more possibilities for new challenges)! VAB and SPH swapping at the touch of a button! BETA THE EVER! I have a few things I'd like cleared up though - IVA view for the Mk3 cockpit is coming in this update, right? - Any news on biomes for all planets for 0.90 that was talked about earlier? - Are the new part organization/grouping reworks coming in 0.90? - What happened to this picture? I'd love to have that in a mod - Any news on the IVA for the Mk2 cockpit or the other cockpits? Or is the ETA still "in the future"? Don't get me wrong, I'm super hyped for this update. I'm just not sure what information is out about these four points + the last which I'm curious about. - Avera9eJoe
