  1. Huh, that's rather strange. It looks like the glow is at too low an altitude. I'll have to raise it in the next release.
  2. Woo! I forgot to post that I updated here, too. Thank you for confirming that the clouds are indeed fixed Update 1.3.3 is live! * Fixed rainbow menu clouds.
  3. Thank you so much! Yeah, it's narrowed down to EVE/Kopernicus, and I think it also might be related to versioning of the various mods and ckan? I'm not sure Exactly but I was able to replicate the clouds on my system after I installed it from ckan and moved the install. Still have to do some testing, though.
  4. Infinite_monkey you got me thinking. If you go into the static folder in GameData, you could probably create a small section of the bridge, and then duplicate the group, and move the group around if you wanted. You would only have to do a small section and then you could duplicate that.
  5. Are you sure that's the satellite dish asset? The one with the invisible arch is a broken 'easter egg' asset if I recall right
  6. It would take a bit of work but technically would be doable. That said, that picture of Duna, did you take that with the most recent release? I revamped Duna in the most current release.
  7. Aye, its something related to Scatterer interacting poorly with EVE. I actually have a KSP instance that does have rainbow clouds now, so I have something I can base my studies off finally
  8. It's already fixed, my patch was correct but BDA had strange custom patches that included :FINAL in the titles, so my patches weren't showing up
  9. Greetings! I set up a MM patch to replace the title of two BDArmory parts, though my patch doesn't work for some reason, and I can't figure out why. Nvm! My modules were correct but the mod includes :FINAL tags on its part names for some reason.
  10. All the releases are on GitHub- there should be links in each mods forum post
  11. WindowShine hasn't been updated for a while I'm afraid I've stopped using it in my games so I don't have as much interest in maintaining it as I used to
  12. There's an addon I created just last week that adds city lights to any EVE pack- search up "KSPRC City Lights" in CKAN and you should be able to download it for 1.8 it also works for 1.9 but you'll have to force install it since EVE isn't technically updated for 1.9 (Even though it works fine ).
  13. I'm still looking into the exact cause of this but for now its best to ignore it since it only effects the menu. I still can't replicate it on my own machine, so I can't do more than guess randomly
  14. @Kaidesa The settings are definitely correct. I'm not sure why you are still seeing rainbows @Kaidesa The settings are definitely correct. I'm not sure why you are still seeing rainbows Are you playing on PC?
  15. I might have forgotten to actually toggle the setting let me check Good to hear I noticed that your version was lower quality, but I took the edits to the poles you made and overlayed them onto the original, so that the rest of the texture is original but the poles are a little better
  16. Hello, I sadly have a bug to report that a few people using Spectra have reported. When "EVEIntegration_preserveCloudColors = True" on Kerbin and Spectra is installed, the clouds on the main menu turn all rainbow colored: I haven't been able to replicate the bug on my end for some reason, but two different people reported this to me after I released an update that changed it to True. Setting it to False reportedly fixes this.
  17. Damn I was hoping it wasn't that. That setting is what creates sunset colors, though I do have a workaround. I'm updating as I type, you should see Spectra v1.3.2 out in just a few minutes.
  18. One more thing you can try @Kaidesa- can you go into GameData/Spectra/Spectra_scatterer/Planets/Kerbin/atmo.cfg and change "EVEIntegration_preserveCloudColors = True" and change it to False? If that doesn't work you can also try setting "experimentalAtmoScale = 1.7" to something like 2. That might help too, though it will also make the atmosphere look more muddy. I also use -popupwindow so that shouldn't be causing any problems. What other mods do you have installed? Specifically what visual mods?
  19. Sweet! Alright. Could you try dropping this into you GameData folder? Its a replacement Kerbin atmo file for scatterer that lowers the cloud color multiplier, which is what I think is causing the rainbow clouds. If this fixes it I'll push a hotfix through SpaceDock. Spectra menu clouds hotfix attempt 1
  20. I think I know what's causing it but not sure why exactly. I did some changes to Kerbin's cloud colors to improve their color at sunset, though it's rather strange that it might make the menu crazy colorful. Do you mind if I send you a file for you to drop into GameData to see if it fixes it?
  21. Thank you for the update, this means that this is definitely caused by Scatterer & Spectra clashing in some way. I still don't see any of this on my end though, so I can't really test for it
  22. Bizarre... I'm not getting any of that. I changed some Scatterer cloud color settings and that might be the cause? Could you uninstall Scatterer and see if the clouds at the menu go back to normal?
  23. EVE is a parent mod that doesn't actually add clouds itself- it simply adds the framework. You have to install a mod like AVP/Spectra/SVE, that add config files and textures in order for the clouds to show up in game. Virtualgenius is correct though, there is a 'default' config that was created by rbray89 and waz which you could install if you want but its hard to find unless you unstall via CKAN. To get it you can search for "Environmental Visual Enhancements - Stock Planet Config files" in CKAN and install that. Why is it that you don't want to use AVP or other mods, though? They're the same type of mod as the default configs, but they are far more detailed, and optimized.
