I just downloaded this and the readme file says I need Kethane for this to work. But the OP says the only required mods are Module Manager and KIS. Which is right?

I'm hoping to finally visit every planet and moon on a single save, set up at least one ore-to-LFO station in each system, and place a huge colony on Laythe. Not that different from what you did, I guess. I'd also like to finally pull off a manned Eve mission, though that probably won't happen for a while. If you're getting bored, maybe take a break and play other games. No telling what'll have changed when you get back. -

Ore Collecting Contract

I believe you can do it in multiple sessions. There's a marker that pops up when you've collected 25, 50, and 75% of the necessary ore so it's tracked at least. I haven't tested it though. -
What top 10 (or less) mods couldn't you do without?

In no particular order: - KER - KAC - KAS/KIS - Texture Replacer - ATM Anything else I could do without, but visual enhancement mods like Distant Object Enhancement or Collision FX are preferred when available. EVE is nice, but the "hardcore" packs crash my game and the default looks kind of low-res. EDIT: Forgot about Trajectories. So glad it's finally been updated. -
Is that the root part? You can't detach those. Alternatively, make sure there are no stock struts or anything attached to it. EDIT: I see some RCS thrusters attached to it. Take those off and then try it.

Possible bug: when I place items in a command pod and send it up without a Kerbal inside, the items inside are gone when I board it from EVA.

How well does the AI work in space? I'm assuming not very, since space is weird, but I'd love to know. -
Download WindowShine. It makes the visors reflective by default, and most of the windows on command pods as well.

Awesome! Would it be possible to survive without LS supplies on Laythe as well? That's something I've been wanting to do with my game but haven't been able to figure it out. -

Thanks, I really appreciate it. It's nothing you did; the original suffers from it now too. In Stevie_D's original release, it was easier to mount stuff inside the hanger parallel to the floor, if that makes any sense. Now everything that's off-center automatically angles sideways as if it were being mounted on a cylindrical fuel tank. I'll post a picture when I have a second to load up the game. -

I don't think see-thru is possible right now, especially without a dedicated IVA. Sophia would have to rebuild the model from scratch to have a hollow command deck. -
But they need water for drinking and stuff anyway. Why not put it to use?

I have a couple of (hopefully not too time-consuming) requests for the command pod. 1) Is it possible to make it compatible with WindowShine? From what I understand, the "window" portions of the part have to be defined as a separate mesh from the base part in order for it to work. 2) The placement of parts inside the hanger is kind of wonky right now, and has been for a long time. Could that be fixed so that it works the way Stevie_D's version did at launch? -
Any chance of a 1.0.2 update for this? I'd love to mess around with it in my career game.
