[1.8.x-1.12.x] - RasterPropMonitor (adopted)
desepticon replied to JonnyOThan's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hmm. I'd rather not do that. There must be a way to change RPM so it recognizes the newer mechjeb version. Guess I'll have to wait. -
[1.8.x-1.12.x] - RasterPropMonitor (adopted)

It seems in-cockpit MechJeb functionality no longer works. Buttons are grayed out and do nothings and the screen doesn’t recognize it as installed. Anyone have an idea how to patch it so it works? Thanks. -

[1.12.x] Kerbal Atomics: fancy nuclear engines! (August 18, 2024)
desepticon replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
That was me. Forgot I resized the engine with tweakscale. It's easy enough to fix in-game as well with the Waterfall FX editor. -
[1.12.3] OMICRON - Flying Space Car - Release 0.6.6.6
desepticon replied to Climberfx's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm on Mac as well which is why I know they are aliases. The filesystem won't recognize them as anything other than that. When I do a "Get Info..." on them. It tells me the original files are from /Applications/KSP_1.9.1/saves/Climber Game/Ships/SPH/Omicron_Trip_S.craft Which I assume is a valid path on your Mac. Dragging something out of Applications always defaults to aliases unless you hold down the command key (for move) or the option key (for copying).- 211 replies

Here's a ModuleManager config to remove heatProduction from the KA engines for those who just want to burn. link -
[1.12.3] OMICRON - Flying Space Car - Release 0.6.6.6
desepticon replied to Climberfx's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Are you sure? Because I tried redownloading them and I got the same issue. Screenshot below: I cant even open them in a text editor because they are not associated with any file on my computer.- 211 replies

You accidentally zipped up the aliases instead of the actual .craft files.- 211 replies

Getting a bunch of exceptions on vessel load. It also takes a really long time to load a vessel for launch My KSP.log is over 100mb so i don't think I can upload the whole thing. But this entry shows up 100s of times on vessel load at launch.

1.1.2 Magic Smoke Industries Infernal Robotics 2.0.2
desepticon replied to sirkut's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It's not. Anti-virus software is notorious making false positives with DLLs. -
Not getting any sound or particle effect from the J2X. Any ideas? edit: it works only with RealPlume installed.

Where did the dashboard go? I remember having it a while ago, but can't seem to find it anymore.

[1.4] Wheels Collection (formerly rollkage & better wheels)
desepticon replied to zitronen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Any chance you might rerelease the Rollkage itself? I still have mine that still works but its still missing some of the parts, namely the dashboard. -
This is the Hopper Jr. XL Solo, the latest in a series of VTOL capable landers I have made. It was originally designed to fit inside an OPT large cargo bay, but an earlier and lighter design could fit in the MK2 Cargo Bay. It has rotatable and extensible engines to be able to operate in various configurations. With it's engines in the extended and rear-facing configuration it can tow a large booster section without the exhaust becoming occluded. It can also face them forward to burn retrograde while facing prograde. For landing, it can rotate its engines downward in order to land VTOL style. The engines are perfectly balanced using RCS Balancer in all configurations. It has around 7000Dv. Mods used: B9 Aerospace, RLA Stockalike, Near Future Electrical, Infernal Robotics, Tweakscale, Procedural Parts, Ven's Stock Revamp, Hullcam VDS, Stockalike Surface-mount Lights. IMGR Album

Actually you can setup CKAN to install a DEV version. I do this with mechjeb. You'd have to add a special dev repo for your stuff to the CKAN github though. Then in CKAN you add a line to your setting to add a metadata repo. Currently SCANsat, Trajectories, Mechjeb, and RemoteTech have this option.

Modify Decoupler to Not Leave Bits Behind
desepticon replied to desepticon's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Yeah, I know that. I would rather not have to change scenes though. -
Anyone know how one might go about making a cfg tweak or module manager config for radial decouplers so that they don't leave those little bits behind when you stage them?
-
I tried to do the regex replace and it worked somewhat. There are a bunch of others I can't figure out how to change. So many .cgf files! Ugh...
