  1. I don't see the Mr Fusion, but i assume the flux capacitor is inside...
  2. Calling 911 because Matt Lowne had his channel copyright-struck Calling 911 because your Jool-5 ship was kraken-struck Calling 911 because your girlfriend left you dumb-struck.
  3. It shouldn’t be any surprise that with the passing of John Mann, this is stuck in my head. There are two radio stations playing in different areas at work, and they were both playing this song all day long......
  4. Oh, it’s certainly doable, if they wanted to spend the time and money. But it’s tricky, they have to ensure whatever they put on it doesn’t peel off and strike something vital.
  5. John Mann of the Canadian folk rock band Spirit of the West died yesterday at age 57, due to Early Onset Alzheimer’s .https://www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/music/article-spirit-of-the-west-singer-john-mann-dies-at-57/ You'll have to excuse him, he’s not at his best...
  6. The major issue with external tanks in orbit is that the foam would disintegrate, resulting in a cloud of foam particles surrounding it. More time and money to solve the problem and qualify the solution.
  7. Well now that's a shame. But hey, it's real rocket science when pieces go flying. Dang, I waited too long and can't rewind that far now. Pity.
  8. Coffee-related trivia: I worked (briefly) at multifunction laser printer tech support. A common complaint was lines on the scan of documents that were scanned through the auto document feeder. The cause would usually be a speck of dirt on the scanner glass. The recommended item for cleaning the glass is a coffee filter, because they are mildly abrasive, lint-and-surfactant-free, and most offices will have them, unless they use a Keurig machine (like my current workplace). But at least I didn't have to deal with this guy... (sorry, not coffee related)
  9. Hmm, yes, apparently YouTube should shoulder some of the blowback from this, since apparently it is their error somewhere. What are the alternatives to YT again? I have to wonder if there is any way to prove that the music in question came from YAL? Disclaimer: I haven't watched any of Matt's videos; in fact, I don't watch any streamers on YT, Twitch, or anywhere else. Occasionally I'll watch a Manley video or something similar. But this circus is....
  10. Good tune, it's played at a very powerful scene in the movie "Cruel Intentions." A lot of good tunes in that movie, actually. Okay, how have I never heard of Scatman John before? Funky stuff!
  11. Nonsense. Coat the ends with nanobots which make sure every last bit of debris is removed in one swipe!
  12. So that’s Boba Fett’s new job, tracking down copyright infringers....
  13. Fair point. But as the employer/client of the infringement hunting contractor, the IP holder has the ability and the duty to tell their contractor when to cease-and-desist. And putting the pressure on the IP holder would be the quickest way to get through to the trolling agent, who probably gets paid per infringement found/countered.
  14. Perhaps Matt should consider contacting his local network news, specifically whichever department stands up for consumers (in my locale, Global News has "Consumer Matters" and CTV has "... On Your Side"). When some little guy has a dispute with a "big bad company" (such as an overbilling matter the company refuses to correct, amongst other things) they will do a report on it. It's amazing how quickly a company will change its tune when faced with bad publicity. There would be two targets here, Sony ATV and YouTube.
  15. I thought those valves/burst disks were just to pressurize/arm the system, but the actual engine control valves were further downstream?
  16. I remember the old Ultima game on the NES, which advertised that it would take at least 100 hours to beat the game. I think there was one thing to unlock that simply wouldn’t until enough time had been out in to the game. Side note: the game came with a map, which in our case had fallen across an ashtray, leaving a scorch mark that happened to be on a useless island in the middle of the ocean. The lore became that that was where the “Tiltowait” nuclear blast spell was tested...
  17. Infinite Error: the tea in the Infinite Improbability Drive has cooled off.
  18. Yeah, still waiting to hear that Hilton has contracted to buy a Bigelow BA-330 outfitted as a hotel, to be launched and supplied by SpaceX or BO
  19. I dunno, McRoids just sounds wrong somehow...
