I either add a second vote for the DB5 because of James Bond, or pick my dads 1970 Barracuda. That is a mean looking car. His is still a work in progress, but he replaced its tiny 340 with a 440 engine, and it has some get-up-and-go to it.

Seems I was posting with tired eyes, I thought I saw a slight majority against. Lets just pretend I work for a major news network and tried to spin the poll in my favor. Point about nothing changing stands though right? What good will come from further dialog on the subject, we are not going back

I love how much time hobbes novakoff in particular has spent in the various forum-upgrade threads, trying to do damage control. Looking at polls, more than half of the users here are not at all fond if it, but there's no way squad is going back so why waste time arguing about it lol.

All we can hope is that the continued negative feedback prompts some changes to the layout here.

Things that never made it to the game/things that were added later

I remember something about that. A dev I think said they were working out how to make the surface sample a different color depending on the body you were landed on -

I second that. I greatly enjoy the base game as squad designed it -

I happen to like KSP because it makes space easy honestly. I can slap together a few dozen parts and go land on the mun. I dont need to waste time crunching numbers, I've never done any math junk while playing. I just build and go, tweaking things in the event of failure. -
Tweaked mine a bit, Im going to assume the forums will fix themselves. (But I am saving that Strobe gif just in case) As for yours, solid 9 out of 10. I see the work you put into it and your comics(from the sampling I've done) have good KSP humor in them. I've bookmarked them for continued viewing after work

10/10, I love that link!

I have just a few weeks to watch all these "Space Conflict" movies start to finish. I've seen bits from some of them, but never even a single one in its entirety.

For your first Idea, I would like a part called a "Part Box" or something or other. They would hold 3 "parts". An engineer could EVA near one, right click "take part" and use that 1 part they grabbed to either "refill" 400 abalator(this would be imagined as replacing burned out tiles or something), repair a Tire, or fix a broken solar panel. You could rendezvous in orbit and refill a "part box" by docking with another part box craft, or have an engineer EVA back and fourth 3 times carrying parts to refill it. These parts dont need to be modeled, they would be like data, just an invisible value assigned to the part box or kerbal. For the second idea, I like limting how many can be placed, so maybe something similar to my above idea, but with a "Construction Box"? it could have 4 or so struts in it? then you could send craft up with parts to reinforce craft after orbital assembly. For the 3rd idea, is that needed? Look at the IVA views, everything is always stored in a closed drawer(the hitchhiker has trash, refuse, junk, laundry, and food cabinets) , and kerbals are seated and strapped in.

It is indeed ugly, but hopefully with time will be improved and tweaked. one thing that I think is getting me is the light grey in alot of places is too close to the white, but off just enough to notice it so there's an extra strain. oh and welcome back Kiwi. I was hoping that this hideous debacle would not drive anyone away from this community forever.

If just landing on a body is good enough for tourists, it should be good enough for our kerbonauts. Good point, getting out and planting a flag 3 times is a pain in the booster.
-
How do I use that, and would you post a screenshot so I can see how the changes look? If its good I will report your post so the admins(ideally kasper) see it.

Will you re-add pre-set tags? Like remember how in the suggestions section you could pick [Discussion] or [Suggestion], and in the Spacecraft Exchange there was [Stock Craft] and many others I believe. I see you can add custom tags when creating a thread, but without the preset drop box there will be separate tags for the same things. for example : Stock, Stock-craft, Stock craft, Vanilla would all be the same thing to us, but different tags to the forum. So if i search for all posts tagged "stock craft" I might not get them all.

Clean lines, borders around every section(and shadows too), smaller tight font, it has more than 2 colors... I miss you <3

Thank you Kasper. I am going to compare the new look here to that episode of pokemon that gave kids seziures. It only affects like 10-15% of viewers, but for those who find it to be painful/uncomfortable, its is REALLY bad.

haha xD no.

This actually hurts my eyes. Like I literally cannot browse for more than a few minutes because of the spacing/contrast/font size, IDK what but something is amiss and it is very uncomfortable.
