As the Joker once said, "And Here We Go" I was reading through KSP articles online, looking to see if people mistook 1.0 as finished, when really it will continue development. Engadget says this is the 'polished version' despite not having clouds yet, but I digress. I read through a few different sites until I came upon Eurogamers article about 1.0 releasing. In that article they say this: A click later and I was brought to THIS: https://www.gamersedition.com/blog/announcing-kerbal-space-program-gamers-edition This article was released only just today, so hopefully I have successfully stolen Squads thunder and posted it here first!

[Suggestion] Moderation Abilities on a Thread you Own?
r4pt0r replied to michaelsteele3's topic in Kerbal Network
now after reading through http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/115655-What-Are-Things-You-ve-Heard-That-Made-You-Facepalm I might see why you started this thread. There are occasions upon which I've seen moderators step in to keep threads like the 'faceplam' thread in line. A forum user who REALLY liked the movie 'Frozen' comes to mind. If someone is breaking your threads rules then the best you can do is ask them to stop or report it. I just think giving one person alot of power can only lead to the eventual decline and death of the republic, followed inevitable assassination by your fellow senators. err, I mean, unrest on the forums -
[Suggestion] Moderation Abilities on a Thread you Own?
r4pt0r replied to michaelsteele3's topic in Kerbal Network
Lets say I start a thread, and I blacklist regex. regex is a great poster who always has well reasoned critisizm, or support for things. Him and I dont see eye to eye on an issue so I just blacklist him from my thread. What oversight stops me from blacklisting him, as opposed to blacklisting 'kerbtroll2000' who just keeps shouting about how squad is evil? If a poster is actually trolling, then the report button fulfills the same duty as any blacklist or delete button. -
[Suggestion] Moderation Abilities on a Thread you Own?

this can already be done with the report button. if a moderator sees something and doesnt delete it, then its ok. giving people the ability to delete posts that disagree with them would eliminate the purpose of a forum. -

So when I make a suggestion thread titled "Squad please dont ever add a dv counter to the game", something I genuinely do not want, I can delete all disagreeing posts and blacklist them from posting in my thread too? Yeah I support this idea. -
Proper Fairings ASAP
r4pt0r replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Why do they choose the ugliest pictures to share? Between the first fairing picture and the confetti picture, they could have shown us nice round fairings and x2 or x4 separation, but they opted to show us blocky fairings and confetti. Show us what your features are capable of, not the worst they have to offer lol. -
Whats up with the "do not believe their lies" bit?

Proper Fairings ASAP

"Adjustable Options (eg: 1,2,3, or 4 clamshell pieces)" specifialy precludes confetti style. clamshell variations only. -
What is the point in kerbals having stats?
r4pt0r replied to John FX's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
A majority of people disliked the idea of kerbals affecting part stats. After a 64page thread we got that silly idea shut down. -
The Unofficial News About KSP Posted On Other Sites Thread!
r4pt0r replied to Robotengineer's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Well I learned that KSP hit the 1 million steam sales milestone, and also learned why they made that information not public But congrats on the milestone! I've always wondered whether there are more KSP store users or steam users, seems the world may never know. -

Proper Fairings ASAP
r4pt0r replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
ALL ACCORDING TO PLAN MUHAHAHAHhahahahaha! Its only been 40 minutes, but I thought there might be one vote for confetti style, even if its just a dev lol. -
Support the suggestion thread as well folks, steal the image in my sig if the fairing separation thing is a cause you want to support.

If you want an .gif avatar, you can use this convenient site to resize the gif you want and use the optimize tool to get it below the filesize requirement. It must be no more than 19.5 kb and 64x64 pixels to work on the forums.

Squadcast Summary for 2015-04-18 - Picture Perfect Edition!
r4pt0r replied to HafCoJoe's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Progress lads. as much as I am sure it pains many of you, compatibility between versions was never guaranteed. The blessing out of this, is that after 1.0(finished in they eyes of consumers), professional developers don't introduce updates that break saves. We can reasonably guess that saves should never get broken again. -
Proper Fairings ASAP
r4pt0r replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Its nice to see the support, Im seeing quite a few changed sigs. A poll would be nice, but idk if one can be edited in now though. -

Proper Fairings ASAP
r4pt0r replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Im 80% sure the fairings will dissapear when you get too far from them, wont be persistent just like the fairings we already have for the nuke engine. It shouldnt be a problem for debris. the problem is the way they implemented it is ugly and uncool in my opinion. -

Hopefully they have an abalation(?) gauge so we can see how much more they can take between uses. I hope to aerobreak at jool, then re-aero break back at kerbin to resupply and replace them then.
