1. Well, to be honest, the idea came when I first installed RSS + FAR and tried to play career, with all stock parts. After a few hours of cursing and jumping around Kerbin like a crazy Kerbal, I managed to scrounge enough science points to just barely launch a satellite into orbit. Then I thought about this idea. In the end, it remained an idea, and whole Realism Overhaul is much easier than what I tried. Thanks for your oppinions guys, I can't help but feel a little dissapointed, but I completely forgot about the fact that RL jet engines aren't as good as the Kerbal ones... not to mention what would happen to an almost hypersonic launch platform at the moment when it launched it's cargo
2. Well, I haven't really explained it properly it seems. B-52 was just a place holder of sorts. Ideally, you'd use some relative of SR-71 (I know, it's expensive as hell to fly it) to get to as high speed as possible on turbojets, then second stage uses ramjets or scramjets if possible, and finally third stage goes the rest of the way on rocket power. I imagine it might be useful for launching small satellites or supplies into orbit cheaply.
3. Well guys, I've been tossing this idea around in my head for quite a while. It's not really a challenge, since I can't offer my attempt, because my computer can't really handle the whole RSS/Realism Overhaul, but here goes: With RSS installed, with FAR, TAC, DRE et cetera, is it feasible to make a multistage winged launcher? Entirely reusable. For instance, you get a B-52 to haul something high up. Then it starts it's own scramjet for instance, that carries it further, then it detaches the scramjet part, which turns back to base, and you fly the rest of the way on rocket power. Could a atmospheric launched sort of cheap launcher be made that way, for real Earth? Idea isn't to make a Single Stage craft, but sort of like something that SpaceX wants to make with Grasshopper, or Virgin Galactic does with White Knight/SpaceShipN combo, only orbital, and only with off the shelf (more or less) parts. Any comments, ideas? Edit: Sorry for puting it here, the game related part is just a "testing ground" for this idea.
4. Well, if you're used to depending on your agility, JagdPanther II, otherwise, Ferdi. For JP2, it has a terribly low gun arc, so keep that in mind. A friend told me just yesterday how he abused IS-3 with Ferdinand. People say it can actually angle it's armor, thanks to it's large gun arc. Now, to be honest, I don't have any of these two, but I'm (veeeeery slooooooowly) headed towards Ferdi. Other than that, I have unlocked 110E5 with crew trained on my T34 pillbox, but never got around to having enough silver to buy the damned thing :-D
5. Well... I loved Enterprise, it's closer to our time and way of thinking, but still a Star Trek. Deep Space 9 - "In pale moonlight" If I remember correctly, it's been voted the best star trek episode ever. TNG: Friend and I are watching it for a couple of months now, when we have time, still on first Season, I'll tell you my oppinion in a few years TOS... it's a classic! Voyager... boring. I couldn't stand it really. I'm usually stubborn to the point of masochism and really hate stopping in the middle of something that I start, but I couldn't watch this to the end. They just had too many stuff extracted from their rear orrifices to repair faulty writing...
6. I remember reading about a German WW2 enterprise in building a coal powered jet engine... seems it's this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lippisch_P.13a .. maybe something similar with magnesium?
7. Well, here's my first succesfull Mun mission, dated on 5th of November 2013. You can see I had issues with lander stability on my previous attempts...

It was an amasing moment! I had two friends on audio while landing, and they were doing the same (well, one was, the other one was trying to reach a stable orbit :-D) Edit: How to embed it so it makes a gallery? Edit2: Found it :-)
8. Which makes it not being a Single Stage To Orbit vehicle.
9. Important part for all of you favouring ICBM attack is bolded. With that kind of engines, we really can only look at them.
10. Most impressive! maybe with: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/47399-kOS-Scriptable-Autopilot-System-0-9 and: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/48720-TT-NeverUnload-Vessel-Unloading-Preventer you could actually make it fully automated and doing both things at once... Good luck
11. Congratulations! All I can say, you've given me additional motivation to upgrade my computer, as it can't hold it's own with RSS and other addons that go with it! Respects!
12. Is the supermoon when it's low on the horizon so the atmosphere enlarges it?
13. Well, frankly, I really felt nervous sending my first expedition to Duna orbit. I couldn't relax until they were on Kerbin orbit with PE of 32 kilometeres. Same thing when I sent Jebediah to collect science in Solar orbit for the first time. Just.. very uneasy. Maybe it's the fear of failure?
14. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/55401-Community-Mods-and-Plugins-Library http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/55657 Kerbal joint reinforcer doesn't help? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/53134 Also, maybe this? Kerbal Attachment system

16. How about this: First, you collect all the data in a single file, for instance an archive of sort. Then you find a seed from which that specific file can be procedurally generated. That should reduce it's size a lot. THEN you look for ways to store that seed securely? About the machine that works for 5 billion years, recording the Sun, I'm at a loss tho...
17. Probably a full FRAPS video recording, start to finish. Now, I must mention that achieving a Kerbol orbit should be relatively easy, with a big enough rocket. Getting back might be tricky tho...
18. I believe it stands for Lack Luster Labs, a parts mod: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/24906
19. Do whatever you want as long as you don't distrupt our siesta? :-D That's one of the greatest things I heard recently :-) Edit: On topic, I'm not quite sure about the laws in Serbia regarding such stuff. You can easily buy small model rockets (they're wooden, one model has a parachute top, and about 40x5cm in size) with small gunpowder based engines (the engine being the size of a bit bigger pocket lighter, electrically started. Also, you could buy the model rocketplane, made of wood, with paper covered wings and a metal head where that same egnine goes, it was called Pionir (well, pioneer, eh? communist past, maybe, or maybe not) Other than that, I'm not really sure how rocketry is treated around these parts, tho I guess most amateurs are somewhere in between the above stated and drunken firings of military anti tank rockets left from all the recent wars aroudn these parts...
20. You mean that one?Well, I'd say religious feeling is a weak description. Those man are incredibly brave! Thanks for pointing out that documentary for me!
21. For me, it was Giana sisters, or some similar Mario like game, on Spectrum ZX at friends. I was some 6 years old, the year was 1990.
22. Impressive! I remember how hard it was to launch just a Sputnik core into orbit with only RSS and all stock parts, without real fuels and all that... Btw, music is absolutely epic, what did you use? I got goosebumps all over my body watching the launch... reminded me of the real thing for a bit! Also, the rocket looks more like the Soviet failed N-1 than Saturn V. N-1 is more like a lady in the skirt... Saturn V is more ... ahem... manly
23. Any chance of finding it in text format, to put it through translate?
24. Same here with Kerbal Engineer at least. I don't have mechjeb tho. Any solutions? I'm sending Jeb to the Mun gang, it's importat work!
