  1. It's a good thing Duna doesn't have much atmosphere. Also, I was wondering if you were planning to continue this after .24 is released, or are you planning to start over again?
  2. Ok cool, I'll add it to the OP. Hope it looks ok in person it was just a quick unity job. That dark circle near the engines is from texture baking and I have no way to get rid of it without a lot of work. The Leek seems to be working decently as an orbital module. It may be a little small for "Eyes turned skyward" but I think it's still an ok fit with the Mk1-2 pod. So, my plan with KSP .24 is to do a quick balance pass of costs as soon as I get my hands on the new version. I'll throw that version up here on the beta and then based on initial feedback I'll update the main HGR release early next week. (That is if .24 comes out in the next day or two) I won't be including the PMK, Lima, or the original version of the onion in the main release as I feel they still need a lot more done to be even considered worthy of the main release, let alone done. I'll keep the old version of the onion up for the next update or two, but it will be going away at some point now that I have the Leek. I may post it up as an extra DL if people still want to use it. I've found that a balanced mix of working on new parts and improving old ones keeps things interesting and the mod moving forward. This will likely be the way I continue to do things.
  3. Alternate Service Module Here you go, just merge the GameData as usual and it should work. After you get a chance to check it out can you let me know if it's working properly? That way I can add the link to the front page.
  4. How's that look? If that's acceptable for you I can throw up a DL for it. (It's just a model and cfg file, they'll just get merged into HGR. It wont replace the standard version.)
  5. Not officially planned as it's a lot of time and resources for something that I feel adds little to the pack. However I'll see if I can rig something up using the existing assets as an optional DL, because you've been around since the beginnings of HGR and I know you've wanted a four nozzle service module forever. So, no promises but I will try.
  6. So if anyone feels I've been neglecting the Shenzhou part of this mod, here's a couple pics that might make you feel better.
  7. Ahh, try updating to RPM .17 the newest release changed a lot and my IVAs just got updated to use that version. If that doesn't work I'll try to figure out something else. Also make sure you have the latest module manager. (It should be bundled with RPM anyways) I would also check to make sure the HSI MFDs are compatible with the latest RPM release.
  8. Aye, I just skimmed the landertron thread and apparently I happened to DL a version that was spelled wrong. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'm glad you're enjoying the newer stuff, it's been a long process, but I think it's been worth it.
  9. Some of the highlights of my Kerpollo 14 mission. (Ongoing) It might disqualify me, but I took advantage of KAS for this mission. From left to right/top to bottom: -Deploying the subsatellite -Assembling the rover -Deployment and assembly of the ALSEP package -Alan kermin took advantage of KAS and smuggled a soccer ball on board the LEM. The pair took some time to make some experiments. When i get some time to organize my photos more, I'll add them to my album.
  10. Aye, updating that texture was something I had hoped to do before the release, but just didn't get to. It should be at the quality level of the Decent module and service module next release.
  11. Fair enough, the R&D version will eventually be brought over to the main release, but the new file structure I use in it makes it easy to delete unwanted parts. Since I'm posting in this thread, I should mention, if anyone uses RasterPropMonitors the R&D version is upgraded to support the newer RPM release.
  12. Nice ^^ If you're looking to use the radish gemini style I'd advise you to check out the R&D (beta) version of this mod. (Link in sig) In it the radish has been redone to use different specialized decouplers instead of auto shrouds. The largest decoupler acts as a service module with fuel and monopropellant stored inside. The pack also includes an inline chute that woks well for both the mk1 pod and radish to do mercury and gemini respectively and is realchute compatable.
  13. Build a rover that can get to the top of the mountains to the west of KSC. First to the top wins. Flying to the base of the mountain in order to drop off the rover should be permitted for time and convenience.
  14. Ok here's Apollo 11. I want to do at least one more Apollo mission, but I want to bring a rover. I've always had a hard time designing good tiny rovers for landers, so this is a good chance to get some practice. @Death Engineering: I like your skylab. It's somewhat similar to what I had been planning, although mine will likely be a bit smaller.
  15. And it went to Ike! http://i.imgur.com/ptWExRm.pngNice! I really like the pic from Ike with Duna in the background. I don't think I've ever actually taken a Soy-Juice to another planet myself... >_> I hope your transfer stage had extra habitation.
  16. I think DRE is a contender for the plug-in spot as well. KSO may not be as popular as KW/B9, but it's definately up there.
  17. Update 22 is up. Here's what it's got: -Updated IVAs -Updated RPM support -Updated KAS support (Added small amount of storage to all pods, solar panels are now grab-able) -Added first release of the Onion's IVA -Updated Latch-O-Matic's texture -Added the "Low Pro" RCS set For some reason the Onion's RPM internal isn't being loaded by the module manager cfg. I haven't been able to figure out the issue. Hopefully it'll be fixed by next time. Since the RPM cfg is included you can get it to load by going into the Onion's cfg and changing: INTERNAL { name = Onion } to INTERNAL { name = Onion_RPM } I want to update the main release before ksp.24 releases. So in the next update I'm planning to update a few more textures and go through all the part's prices. That will likely be the update that goes in the main release. (Minus some of the really WIP stuff like the PMK and Lima) Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this update and let me know what you think.
  18. Finished the Apollo 8 (Whoops, that's 9) mission. I went ahead and redesigned my LEM and I'm MUCH happier with it.
  19. Awesome, I thought you might like it. It's become a staple for me and I saw you were already using several mods from cacteye's required/recommended list anyways. Since it got brought up, the version in my sig is actually pretty outdated. The "in developement" version is much more... well everything honestly.
  20. I would recommend The cacteye telescope. It adds a cool telescope that gives you science for making observations and is serviced using KAS.
  21. I'm trying to get an update out after the weekend. I just really want to get all this IVA updating finished as well as get the onion's IVA at least implemented. (It likely won't look great until the next update) While installing the new seats in the Radish, I took the opportunity to move the pilots up a bit so that they look out more strait.
  22. I'm not that happy with my current LEM design. Would it be against the rules to do a redesign at this point? It would still be similar but I'd like to make it look better.
  23. Hey, thought I'd take a shot at participating. I'm not really going for exact replicas or trying to win, I'm just having some fun learning about the Apollo program. I've got a Saturn-V, Saturn-1B, the CSM, and the LEM that I'll be using. I've got the basic crafts built, I'll start putting missions together ASAP and add them to this album. EDIT: I added Apollo 4 and 7
