  1. How many different errors can this detect, the "divide by 0" in the example, nullrefs are implied in the title, but what else have you added ?
  2. My parking orbit is ~75km, everyonce in a while I might park in a higher orbit of maybe ~85km-100 for interplanetary missions...
  3. -unity costs $0 to start making stuff, as opposed to ~$500 a month -unity does not limit your scene, it simply gives you a warning "well, ur going outside kraken making boundaries, go further at ur own risk...." -unity is pre-made, it takes years and years and (more years) to make a game engine by yourself or with a small team (Harvestr was at first the only KSP dev, not "specialized" in coding, so imagine him making it all by himself in say ~6 months) -unity already supports Windows, Mac and Linux -unity has reasonable api documentation (as opposed to most free engines) -unity has a large community (to answer your questions + to make tutorials + hiring is theoretically easier) etc.
  4. Just noticed something... "Kerbin looks horrible and undetailed" at the same time as "Kerbin should be scaled up, ur a loser if u dont agree with me !" Take one or the other, but my cpu says no to both.

Sorry Regex, but I wish for you to "unmoddable" away these mods custom asteroids better than starting manned Karbonite (the thing they are kinda-copying-ish into stock with its creator) can't say about the new aero system, because it hasn't been released yet. And as far as buildings go, what is the real point of modding them ? edit: my main concern is going to be how many new parts, cause currently in stock, I'm using 3.2 of my 3.8 gb of ram, may try some of those graphical error in return for more ram things soon.
  7. I think 3 hinges with tweakable motor (servo/hinge/motor), a piston where a tweakable limits length. And maybe a single door like hinge ? But in addition to a decent gui for activating the motors, I think we would need an IK like system, mainly for robotic arms. For those that don't know what IK is, its a script that uses joints in a rig (Kerbals, cowboy, other game characters) to get a certain part (usually the head or eyes) to point/get as close to a designated point in space as possible. (hence why it would be useful for arms).

  9. congrats, 6th grade in unity for me, I couldn't do any scripting or really anything for that matter. Keep on going (and don't give up when you encounter that horror bug like I'm having right now in my own project) GJ

  20. so... what would happen if we had KW fairings and added a part that expands the base of the fairing to make it as mushroom as possible ? would it then be "unbalanced/too unrestrictive" because it wasn't procedural, but has the exact same effect as procedural.. ?

  22. to add challenge.... but but but... What about all the world firsts ships.... the big ones, and the early ones before space had some commercial aspects to it, what if, in alternate history apollo had a fairing ? would it have been made to fit the non-existant commercial fairings ? no...

I hope I'm not making a serious responce to a non-serious thread... congrats on reading the white text, this is the non-serious part of the post, just in-case you thought I was actually serious, does this sound a little serious ?, I seriously hope not, because I seriously thought I was serious about the seriousness of this post
