Not seeing any of the expansion parts

I'm using KSP portable 1.7.3. So, what you say is that I should take the whole thing and put it in a folder in C:\ ? -
Question, I have started playing the game again after a long hiatus, and installed the two expansions (among a lot of other things). Not really sure what is in fault here, but I cannot see or use the two KSP expansion parts in career or sandbox. I have installed the two expansions (and they show up at the main menu page). When trying one of the missions though, they can't load because certain parts don't exist. Also, I can't find any of the parts in the VAB/SPH editors. I have no idea what is causing this. Also another small problem with that one. There is a (very small, tried to position it in a way that shows the sky in the back) gap between the end cap and the main compartment at the top. (red arrow) The black end cap on the bottom is missing (blue arrow)

I will play with the USI habitat stats and post them here. I would want this to be balanced against other parts when used for supporting kerbals. With regards to subtypes, here is how the stock Hitchhiker looks to me ingame. Maybe its Restock+ (I have also that installed). I don't really care for the subtypes, just a suggestion. Having the Restock default texture in would be enough for me. Half length sounds good, but you would be getting too many parts to unlock and use at that point imo (personally, I'll only ever use the two 1.25 parts). Again, many thanks for the work!

Thanks, installed it. In the editor, the part shows ok in the part selector section, but not when placed. That is weird. Many thanks, will reply in the thread you gave me. Cheers. C: -
Yep, that fixed it for me. They look great. Will fiddle with the habitat numbers for balance purposes (these are essentially tuna cans with Kerbals inside). Having those with restock textures (and the four subtypes they provide for part ends) would be terrific!

Just installed this via CKAN. Having the following problem. In the editor, the icon for the part clearly shows the hatch. When I try to place the part though, the texture for it is not there. The hatch is invisible, but it works if you press EVA (the kerbal seems to come out the window). Could someone help? They look pretty good, again many thanks. I think they are going to come handy for some people. The only only things I want for them is crew reports (like the original hitchhiker) and a way to make them function as habitats for USI life support. -

It's the mass, not the diameter (at least, that is what it says there). I think that both are supposed to be 1.25m. -

It looks like an aircraft part, not a rocket one. Also, has no hatch on the side. I know that this is a rather niche thing to ask..C: -
Here is a request I have. I would love to have 1 and 2 person habitation parts like the PPD-10 Hitchhiker Storage Container that are sized for 1.25m parts. I currently use the KerbCan 1 person part for this purpose (from Ven), but it doesn't fit the ReStock stockalike look. Are there any mods around that have those parts? Many thanks.

@Irrehaare @kcs123 Fixed it. For some reason, the following is what broke those two missions. REQUIREMENT:NEEDS[FerramAerospaceResearch] { name = PartModuleUnlocked type = PartModuleUnlocked title = Aileron or Elevon partModule = FARControllableSurface } Removing this from the Wright-FirstFlight and Wright-Glider CFGs (can be found in gamedata/contractpacks/gap/milestones) fixed the problem for me. I don't have FAR installed, and I don't know why this error was happening. But doing this enables those two missions. Cheers.

Many thanks. What I did in the end was indeed change the 3 contracts that require Wright-FirstFlight, this gave me access to the rest of the pack. Checking your code to what I have installed using a Difference Checker shows identical files sadly.

Question. I cannot really start playing the GAP contract pack, because the first two missions are not showing. I cannot play with this contract pack either, having the same problem as Irrehaare. For reference, here is what I see when starting a new career (modded install). kcs123, essentially the first two missions are missing (when comparing my screenshot to yours). I tried removing all other contract types from CKAN or contract configurator, let time pass, but seriously nothing. Btw. Those two missions that are missing are shown in the contract configurator logs to have errors. All other logs for the "Giving Aircraft a purpose" category are saying in the end "Successfully loaded" Could someone please take a look at the logs? http://www.mediafire.com/file/8jlmudwommw1mhq/GAP-contract_configurator_logs.zip/file

Hello, a question. I I'm using this mod together with OPM and Outer Kerbin. I want to start a career where the researchable objects are Sun, Kerbin, Mun, Minmus, Phybe and Iszmi. In other words, a career where we only know the Kerbin system. How can I do this? Cannot seem to get the exact configuration I want via playing with the difficulty levels. -

Stripped to just new KSP install and scatterer, still there. Tried to change settings for KSP (vsync, shaders, AA, borderless window, scatter, fallback shaders, edge highlighting etc), still there. Now downloading drivers for GPU (AMD R280x). Will update post with results. edit: Latest catalyst drivers are in, still there. No idea what produces the problem. Would some kind of log help? (sadly I cannot make a video).

I've mostly seen it while in low orbit, and its covering the ocean/water parts of kerbin. Its essentially a constant, sub-second brightening and dimming of the blue parts in Kerbin. Have in mind that I am also using DOE (default config), PS (default config), EVE (not the wip, low res clouds), Smokescreen/Hotrockets (community config) and Engine Lighting, so it may well be a conflict.
