  1. Here's the output. Now I'm going to reboot to see what we broke..
  2. Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Unable to locate package libstdc++-6-dev E: Couldn't find any package by regex 'libstdc++-6-dev'
  3. 4. Maybe YOU should read it. It is only called output.log on Windows. On Mac and Linux it is called player.log. [snip]
  5. I don't have an output log I have a real operating system. I'll tell you what the problem is. It can't find the Lingoona Grammar Library.
  6. Ooooh goody a new KSP version! Does that mean all the old bugs will be fixed in this one? Surface attaching a cubic strut says noooooo.
  7. get some plaster-of-paris and a suitable modeller’s brick mold.you can make the bricks to the scale of your characters. There are even cements and paints available. Model railway enthusiasts use them. They also made good scenery for table top role-playing games
  8. I have been playing with the idea of separating the two. Mine for ore and refine it in orbit. Carrying that heavy IRSU both ways just seems silly to me. I even started designs and testing of such a system but then it occurred to me that while I am saving the weight of the ISRU I still have the drills, batteries, cooling and power generating equipment making both trips. Now I have designed a rover. It is unmanned with only a probe core so I don't have to worry about it being unattended for any length of time. It has just a couple of the tiny ore tanks an ISRU a few drills all the batteries and cooling and power generating equipment. It can dock pretty well too. The engineer and a pilot land a tanker nearby. Doesn't have to be pinpoint accuracy as with a static base. The rover trundles up and docks and now its a fully functioning refinery. The tanker can come down with just enough fuel for the landing and goes back up as fully laden as local gravity will allow. I made it for my vanilla game. I have one on Ike and Duna among other places. I'm working on getting one on Tylo where it can be months or even years between uses. So far I have found it to be the most economical method. I just started a modded game (vanilla parts) and I will most surely be make the same system in this game.
  9. A economical way without a lot of maths and guesswork is to plot a node so that you will get a polar orbit, any polar orbit but with a low pe. Get to pe and close the orbit but only just so that the ap is as high as possible. Do a plane change from as close to ap as possible while raising your pe to that of the target. Plot your intercept.
  10. As I have played without mods for thousands of hours I found this page very helpful KSP Launch Window Planner by alexmoon Using this I could launch my ship on the day I wished to perform the transfer. Sometimes it can be very difficult to get a course to actually connect with the planet and a lot of fuel could be used in making the attempt from Kerbin. I always found it easy and reasonably economical to get the two white 'closest approach' markers as close as I could and then make a correction to the course once I had left Kerbin SOI. The course correction should be made as soon as you leave Kerbin SOI so that you use less fuel because the closer you get to your target, the more expensive are the corrections.
  11. As early in the game it is very difficult to be certain of the terrain when landing I recommend that you only go for splash-downs. The sea near your launch area is huge and easy to hit. This makes all landings much easier and by aiming to get as close to mission control without actually hitting land makes for good (and much safer) practice for getting those pinpoint landings on land. Besides, I like to think that tourists would find splashdowns much more exiting.
  12. When I add a manoeuvre node, I would like to be able to give it a specific time. Years, Days, Hours, Minutes. Having given it a time the node moves to the correct place in the flight path, from where I can then tweak it accordingly. Setting the node for my planetary transfer for 1y 215d 6h 42m or even just 4d 3h 28m ,for example, would be much easier than having to work out how many times I have to press the increment orbits button in the current system.
  13. We were at Mun Skyhome When we saw Kerbin come over the horizon which was cool but.. Even cooler than that.. at the same time Mimnus was rising over the eastern horizon of Kerbin.
  14. The two people who referenced bugs in your content were ignored. That was February. Weeks ago. You say I'm being rude? I have nothing further to say to you.
  15. To be realistic though you wouldn't be able to hear a sonic boom while flying in or even along side of the craft that causes it.
  16. You think my post pointless and thought you would make a point of informing me. Lovely. The posts (two) from February both point to problems that even I, having never seen the parts for this mod, would be able to find the parts referred to and quickly check to see if the points mentioned were valid. Now that would be pointless. One of the two posts I mentioned was actually corroborating an earlier post and still no reply was offered. If other users and indeed the owner of the mod can't check these reports and either offer rebuttal or confirmation, it shows a level of apathy which gives concern. I merely gave voice to my concern.
  17. Last post was February. Perhaps this mod isn't as popular as I thought it might be. I might have thought that no posts in a few months might mean that everyone was happy with this mod but the last two posts suggest otherwise.
  18. So... on my 1.22 game. Can I now uninstall my manual installation of KIS and have CKAN reinstall the correct version for 1.22?
  19. Is it true? Is it really your fault? Do I owe CKAN an apology?
