After hearing other players mention it (because it takes up a huge amount of drive space), I have also taken a look at the structure of the JSON save files in "C:\Users\...\AppData\LocalLow\Intercept Games\Kerbal Space Program 2\Saves\SinglePlayer\..." and I have found the section called "TravelLogData". I believe this is evidence that KSP2's foundation supports recording mission milestones, actions and events - which will enable a lot of features we have talked about in the past: colony delivery routes and seeing active flights parallel-sequential missions by returning to the past and seeing recorded mission play out in-space asynchronous multiplayer which allows time warp single player space races against an AI controlled agency vessel stage recovery flights (like FMRS) implementing the next gen MechJeb ...and much more The structure of the Travel Log (as of 0.1.x) is: Objects TravelObjectId Statistics DistanceTravelled GroundDistanceTravelled MaxAltitude MaxGeeForce MaxSpeed MaxSpeedOverGround MaxGroundSpeed ObjectEvents TravelObjectId EventKey vesselLaunched partCrashed vesselSOIEntered vesselLanded vesselDestroyed etc. Universe Time stamp FlightReportArgs can be parts or celestial bodies etc. We will have to see if this will be expanded significantly as updates roll in. The fact that the system is now mostly disabled would explain why the save game file sizes grow to GB with only repeated entries. The bug probably appeared when they decoupled the in-depth recording system from the game.
  4. So, since a few months, I had the problem with KSP crashing after start and freezing my whole PC. Yesterday KSP managed to shut itself down before it happened and left a crash-log behind. Can you help me find out, what the issue is?
  5. So I'm gonna admit this now. For the past year-and-a-half that I've had this game, I've never gone super in-depth with career mode, as sandbox is just kinda my thing. But career mode has gotten my interest for a good few months now, and I just think the mode itself with its technological progression with the tech tree has made me fascinated. Now I'll actually try to play the mode and be able to go past getting into suborbital flight. I've also not posted that much here on the forums, so I'll do more by showing off missions that I do through logs. I'll be having fun with this and I hope you do too as you read along. I'll post my first log soon, maybe tomorrow or the day after, but I'll definitely make sure I do. By the way, my career won't be completely stock, as I have a few mods (some by Angel-125, CobaltWolf, bcink, and others) along with it. Most of the time when I see other users' logs, they will have a few mods, too.
  6. Hey I had to install KSP new last days and now i have the problem that it crashes very often. Mostly when I switch between the vessels. Now I tried already six times to launch a new rocket but nop still cant get it up it crashs while flying and now already every time I load the launch. Its often with unitycrashhandler. And I cant find a crashlog file it is really annoying and not playable. Only new log file is from AVC. Hope you can help me i already tried directX but it didn't help.
  7. I have a tons of mods installed and I know some of them are causing problems. But my game still runs fairly enough. Every now and then I experience a crash to desktop. I know a log is created but do not know how to use it. Is there a place for me to learn how to use the logs to adress where the issue might be?
