  1. bugrep for [v0.1.1.0.21572] all parts work fine, but are shifted relative to craft's reference point, see screenshot: the craft was fine untill it entered Mun's SOI, quicksaved, quickloaded
  2. Not sure if this is only something I got but the longer I play on a save game the slower everything gets. As I started the save on the launch day the VAB was super fast now I get a complete freeze every 5 Minutes which last for 1 - 2 Minutes. If I press launch -> Freeze for 1 minute After loading the vehicle onto the launchpad -> freeze for another minute This did not happen at the start of the campain and seems to get more ofter and the times of the freeze are getting longer. Found this part in the log, the sabegame seems to be at a size of 500 mb. If the save game is getting bigger and bigger this will potentially get more and more difficult to maintain. I already reported a bug of a unloadable autosave which is at a size of 1.6 Gb. If any developer is reading this the savegame files are in request 48029 which I created earlier because I couldn't load a save game at all.
  3. I just bought the game yesterday and had that weird loading screen bug but I fixed it by changing windows language to English. Eventually I started building something like the ISS. Today I loaded my save and when I went to VAB to build another module I saw that I cannot launch the spacecraft from the VAB. I can only launch it from the launch pad but the thing is when I try to launch it from the launch pad I cannot revert to launch or revert to VAB. In addition to that bug I can't also quicksave or save. My last save is from yesterday and the game is not autosaving as well. Naturally I'm stuck with no game save and I need some fix.
  4. Hello. I have encountered a problem with the game, for some reason, I cant quicksave or save, im trying to get my ship into orbit(i have done this before and ive saved my game in while doing these maneuvers many times before). When I try to save, or return to the space center the game is unresponsive, if I click the button nothing happens. I've looked into the game log and it says this: [EXC 17:34:39.944] NullReferenceException PopupDialog.Dismiss (System.Boolean KeepMouseState) (at <a1ca58b5ca7140639de29a81de5e3f32>:0) PopupDialog.Dismiss () (at <a1ca58b5ca7140639de29a81de5e3f32>:0) QuickSaveLoad.OnSaveAsClose (System.String saveName, System.Boolean pauseGame, QuickSaveLoad+FinishedSaveLoadDialogCallback onSaveAsCloseReturn) (at <a1ca58b5ca7140639de29a81de5e3f32>:0) QuickSaveLoad+<>c__DisplayClass31_0.<ConfirmDialog>b__0 () (at <a1ca58b5ca7140639de29a81de5e3f32>:0) DialogGUIButton.OptionSelected () (at <a1ca58b5ca7140639de29a81de5e3f32>:0) DialogGUIButton.<Create>b__23_1 () (at <a1ca58b5ca7140639de29a81de5e3f32>:0) UnityEngine.Events.InvokableCall.Invoke () (at <12e76cd50cc64cf19e759e981cb725af>:0) UnityEngine.Events.UnityEvent.Invoke () (at <12e76cd50cc64cf19e759e981cb725af>:0) UnityEngine.UI.Button.Press () (at <2d96a890bfa54a0e8b00b1a5c3019a1a>:0) UnityEngine.UI.Button.OnPointerClick (UnityEngine.EventSystems.PointerEventData eventData) (at <2d96a890bfa54a0e8b00b1a5c3019a1a>:0) UnityEngine.EventSystems.ExecuteEvents.Execute (UnityEngine.EventSystems.IPointerClickHandler handler, UnityEngine.EventSystems.BaseEventData eventData) (at <2d96a890bfa54a0e8b00b1a5c3019a1a>:0) UnityEngine.EventSystems.ExecuteEvents.Execute[T] (UnityEngine.GameObject target, UnityEngine.EventSystems.BaseEventData eventData, UnityEngine.EventSystems.ExecuteEvents+EventFunction`1[T1] functor) (at <2d96a890bfa54a0e8b00b1a5c3019a1a>:0) UnityEngine.EventSystems.EventSystem:Update() Thanks for reading and every comment is appreciated. Cheers. Edit: Nevermind, somehow by reversing the flight to launch the problem solved itself.
  5. I couldn't find anything so I wonder if it would be possible for someone to do: A small prgoram that lets you browse your savegame node for node, search and edit it and declutter it. If you for example would like to remove the entries of certain mods you could use the program to scan for non stock nodes and the look closer at them. If you for some reason want to dump and erase your reports of mun you could do that. etc. I know there was something that let you do some of the things I mentioned, if I remember correctly but that was years ago. Edit: This seems outtaded but looks almost like it: Cheers.
  6. Hi, Win7, no mods, Steam. Career mode. About 200 hours under the belt in my career mode profile. I recently updated to 1.2.1 and managed to play that for a couple of hours. Then I experienced a sudden reboot crash, and after this I can't recover my savegame and I can't even start a new career mode profile and recover the savegames on that profile. I have tried reinstalling and juggling with the various savegame backups, renaming them into persistent or quicksave etc. I have recursively made all the game directory not-read-only. To no avail so far. output_log start: This error appears into output_log when clicking the "Resume Saved" button: Please help, I'm out of ideas and the game is unplayable
  7. I'm running 64-bit KSP on Linux. I had the game running on 1.1.1 without much trouble. I tried using the patcher, which left me with a binary which didn't do much of anything. So I backed up my save persistent.sfs file, wiped my install directory, did a fresh extraction of KSP and restored my save file. Now when I go to start I'm told that my save file is "Incompatible with this version of KSP". This doesn't make sense to me. If 1.0.5 ->1.1.0 had broken, I could understand. This was a minor patch release. From my player.log: No save file found for path: /home/garrett/KSP_linux/KSP_Data/../saves/default/persistent.sfs (Filename: /home/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/runtime/UnityEngineDebugBindings.gen.cpp Line: 64) NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at SaveUpgradePipeline.NodeUtil.GetCfgVersion (.ConfigNode n, LoadContext loadContext) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KSPUpgradePipeline.Process (.ConfigNode n, System.String saveName, LoadContext loadContext, .Callback`1 onSucceed, .Callback`2 onFail) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at MainMenu.OnLoadDialogFinished (System.String save) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at LoadGameDialog.ConfirmLoadGame () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at LoadGameDialog+^H^O.^C (Boolean ^A) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at DialogGUIToggleButton.<Create>m__82D (Boolean b) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.Events.InvokableCall`1[System.Boolean].Invoke (System.Object[] args) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.Events.InvokableCallList.Invoke (System.Object[] parameters) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.Events.UnityEventBase.Invoke (System.Object[] parameters) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.Events.UnityEvent`1[System.Boolean].Invoke (Boolean arg0) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.UI.Toggle.Set (Boolean value, Boolean sendCallback) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.UI.Toggle.Set (Boolean value) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.UI.Toggle.set_isOn (Boolean value) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.UI.Toggle.InternalToggle () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.UI.Toggle.OnPointerClick (UnityEngine.EventSystems.PointerEventData eventData) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.EventSystems.ExecuteEvents.Execute (IPointerClickHandler handler, UnityEngine.EventSystems.BaseEventData eventData) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.EventSystems.ExecuteEvents.Execute[IPointerClickHandler] (UnityEngine.GameObject target, UnityEngine.EventSystems.BaseEventData eventData, UnityEngine.EventSystems.EventFunction`1 functor) [0x00000] in <filename unknown$ UnityEngine.Debug:Internal_LogException(Exception, Object) UnityEngine.Debug:LogException(Exception) UnityEngine.EventSystems.ExecuteEvents:Execute(GameObject, BaseEventData, EventFunction`1) UnityEngine.EventSystems.StandaloneInputModule:ProcessMousePress(MouseButtonEventData) UnityEngine.EventSystems.StandaloneInputModule:ProcessMouseEvent(Int32) UnityEngine.EventSystems.StandaloneInputModule:ProcessMouseEvent() UnityEngine.EventSystems.StandaloneInputModule:Process() UnityEngine.EventSystems.EventSystem:Update() (Filename: Line: -1)
  8. Hello guys, I have updated to 1.1 the day it came out and waited for the mod devs to update their mods for 1.1 full release then I went to play in career mode. I was playing fine for the past 2 days but this morning, it said my career file was incompatible with this version of KSP... what do I do? I don't want to restart another one so is there any way I can fix this? I have a few mods installed and all of them except for kerbal engineer are up to date. Actually, Kerbal engineer is bugged because I downloaded the 1.1 update for it 3 times and installed it and when I launch the game it still says that I need to use 1.0.5 with this mode because I have an older version. Can I don anything to fix this? And will my career file be re-enabled in the game afterwards? If you need to tinker with it just tell me ad I'll attach it here. Thanks in advance, Cheers I have to mention that only my career file got "corrupted" and not my sandbox file which is really liquiding me off. It may be due to the 20 or so vessels in flight in career whereas I have none in-flight in Sandbox but still, this is making me lose the motivation to play KSP now...
  9. It is not exactly a question, but it seems I've found a (pretty unnerving) bug in the user interface. Or a defect, if you want to put it like that. The matter is that when you try to save your game (the "Save Game..." window in the Space Center menu) and instead of clicking "Save" just habitually press "Enter" on your keyboard, the game does NOT save, it just closes the menu (possibly making you think that the game is saved, which is the worst part of it). Hopefully posting it here will make some use. (My game is auto updated through Steam to the latest version, of course, and isn't modded in any manner. The system is 64-bit Windows 7.)
  10. I was wondering, will 1.1 break my savegame? This would be good to know since it would make me play a bit sandbox and stop pushing my career mode. I mean craft breaking is okay. The thing I'm worried about is alle the science I gathered (almost all in the SOI of kerbin).
