As title says, here is a stock N1-L3, and it has over 900 parts, so do not run it if your computer is sub-optimal.

Most of the parts are dropped when first stage is dropped.

TO FLY:

SAS on at all times (duh)

Ditch the first and second stage when the wobble builds up.

G-Turn at 1000 m up.

Ditch third stage halfway through TMI.

Land kerbal on Mun, plant flag, reascend to Mun orbit.

Orbiter rendesvous with lander.

Return to Kerbin.

Whoah! She's a monster! Exactly how an N1 should be!

I really like the upper stages man, lots of nice detail there. Do you think you could include a rover to the lander? I know the real one wasn't going to have one its just nice to have a little drive when you get to the Mun.

Good job man and dont worry about the part count. N1s take a lot of parts to make real looking.

Basically, for the block D, there was a spherical LOX tank inside the 'conical' shape, whil'e the toroidal tank, placed around the engine, hold kerozene still, only the block D was kept by the soviets from all of the N1 research when they decided to scrap and dissimulate the project (even the remaining produced NK-33 engines were to be destroyed - but they were instead stored for all this time and the technology behind those survives in the RD-180 engine (as we could see with orbital science, NK-33s were maybe a little too much on the edges of engineering )

Also, after 9 months, only do I realize I've misuploaded the craft. New craft when it's updated.
Also I need your opinions, should I keep the custom fairing or replace it with a stock fairing?

In my opinion, I'd recommend you keep it, as it's better to keep an old system that works better than the stock fairing than use the fairing system that is known to be buggy, and you might end up having to redo the ship.

I didn't even realise this thread was so old, it's awesome but you should use the stock fairing, more aerodynamic, much less parts and probably? lighter.

You could probably utilise the 3.75 to 2.5 adapter as well on the second stage and MK3 tanks on the bottom with the flat sides facing out. Might not go with the theme you have though, but if you wanted to reduce the part count. Like I said it might not fit with the gestalt. Edited November 24, 2015 by selfish_meme

Replace fairing to save parts. If it looks like crap then use the old method. I am not sure about the Kerbal sitting inside a fuel tank though. Is there a pod in there?
