Update: This was a joke mod to protest Squad's decision to change the ROUND-8 tank to store Xenon (see here). After a bit of community backlash, they announced they'd keep the ROUND-8 and make a new large Xenon tank. This mod is now officially dead - it served its purpose and will quietly walk into the sunset.

The CEO of Probodobodyne Inc is furious! He's blaming poor sales of his pet project, the Oscar-B fuel tank, on consumer preference of the ROUND-8 fuel tank. As a result, he's converting all new ROUND-8 tanks to store Xenon to boost Oscar-B sales. We need you to hide some ROUND-8 tanks where the CEO won't find them!

Description

This is a Contract Pack to support the venerable ROUND-8 fuel tank while we still can. If we can store away enough ROUND-8 tanks, perhaps we can save them from a fate worse that decommissioning?

By Kraken's breath, those contracts are asking for A LOT of donuts to be secreted away.

That's gotta crash a market or two. :P #SaveTheRound8

Actually, there's easy/medium/hard versions - I've changed the screenshot to show that. For the trivial ones you only have to save about 2-5 donuts. :)

New version out. Now with an additional contract that takes team ROUND-8 on the offensive. Take some useless Oscar-B tanks and dump them in one of Kerbin's less savoury biomes! Download it now!

Today it was announced that the board of Probodobodyne Inc met and removed the CEO. The interim CEO has announced that the ROUND-8 fuel tank will remain in its rightful place as Probodobodyne's flagship product. No statement has yet been made about the Oscar-B.

I think given Squad's announcement about the ROUND-8 being saved that it's time to call it quits for this contract pack. It was a blast, thanks everyone for all the rep. And an even bigger thank goes out to severedsolo, there's no way this would've been nearly as much fun without him acting as the heel in this little show. So everybody who sent rep my way and is reading this, spread the love a little to severedsolo. :)
