  1. 1. What should we add in future updates? (besides EVE, science and resources intergration)

    • I want more planets/moons.
    • I want the existent content improved.
    • I want more optimisations.

My assumption (perhaps wrong) is that not being able to land on your planets and leave the ship for the space centre because "under acceleration" is a simple, but perhaps not obvious, fix. I'm assuming that all "landable" bodies (not gas planets) have some common features?

If you don't mind, I'll do some research and poking around!

Well, what is reeealy entreguing me is that everything worked fine in version 2.0 but after that everything broke even trough no planet code was changed since then! I'm now using Barney from Sentar Expansion as base model (even trough things are not looking good).

I downloaded after v2. Do you have a copy of it floating around? I can test it and see if it's a problem on my end...

K so I love it so far. Ran into a problem last night.

Landed on Vix (first planet of the mod) and it didn't register as a landing. I didn't sink in and disappear. Instead, the lander kinda floated there on the ground and my kerbal was just constant EVA jetpacking/hovering instead of touching ground. Science could not be collected from the surface, either (further reinforcing the idea that I did not land).

Forgot to add: I was "landed" (as described above) and switched vessels. That lander and kerb disappeared and the kerbal was counted as dead when I looked at Vix from the orbiter and, later, the observatory.

Is this normal on all these planets or what did I do wrong?

Thanks

Vix is tiny. Landing on it is like landing on Gilly, hence the floating.

If you use Kerbal Engineer, get it to tell you your "Situation". Chances are it still says "Flying" when you're landed, that appears to be a common bug with the Kerbol Plus planets. A workaround is to quicksave and edit the state to be "Landed" in that quicksave then load it up.

Ok guys... i think i found the problem... it also lappened on Tal from OPM and the fix was to add a Gilly Templanet to all planet configs and strip it from gilly's pqs mods. CaptRobau also said that the configs don't realy look suspecious. Maybe that would fix the issues, but for now you won't her from me like a week since my England vacantion starts today in 6 hours and I feel like i won't have free wifi in the hotel for my tablet... cheers! Miss everyone... ;.;

It's a bug we're hoping to fix (well, more me because Olympic has no experience with configs).

I have experience with configs, but I never wanted to touch them because you said you were getting a bugfix ready.

Also, you only asked to make biome maps and science reports, so that's what I'm doing.

To anyone who has major problems with K+: Check the second orbit from the edge of the Kerbol system (excluding Corolet). If it looks like Kal is a moon of Ganag, uninstall K+ and reinstall it again, as 2.3.8 seems to have jettisoned a lot of the 2.3.5 files entirely. The correct arrangement should be Ganag and Kal orbiting around a common barycentre.

Also, (and this is not a plea for a bugfix as I know amarius is on holiday and doesn't want to think about this, which is fine) why do the planets between Duna and Jool have such high gravity? Valit (0.55g [EDIT: 0.8g?!] or something like that) is smaller than Duna (0.3g) and yet only the latter has an atmosphere. I can take Pergas - it's got an atmosphere, so I can just say it's made of lead or something like that - but what's going on with Valit (and a few others, for that matter)?

EDIT: The entire Sarvin system is fine, as are Faz and Vix, and possibly some of the moons of Keelon. All of the other bodies have weird gravity values. I understand some of them - Keelon is supposed to be supermassive, after all - but not all of them. Corolet, for example. Shouldn't it have Minmus-level gravity or something like that?

Does this work with OPM?

Be aware that the current version of Kopernicus breaks four of K+'s planets; I'm not sure if OPM works with the downgrade. If you must use the current version of Kopernicus, look back a few pages for a fix.
