Hmm... Perhaps a moon with an icy blue oxygen atmosphere that is fully covered in snow, with huge cliffs, canyons and mountains? Since Keelon is designed after GP3 (though the gas planet was later turned into a desert planet), it's kinda like a Uranus analog, Jool being Jupiter (Joolpiter) and Sarvin being Saturn (Sarvurn? Satvin?), Keelon would be some sort of weird Uranus analog. The moon described above would be a Kerbalized Miranda analog.

A REALY GOOD IDEA ACTUALY!!! Should the surface be smooth and soft like Daphy will have? (in dev version it looks like a big, puffy snowball with ice and crack here and there, like it was supposed to), or should I make it sort of like a realy cold Slate from OPM?

I imagined it more like a moon with high mountain ranges and steep cliffs, so it's more like Slate, yes. I have some more ideas for that moon, though: how about a big canyon like Mars' Valles Marineris, or with some 'lakes' of water that still isn't frozen or thawed?

Well, instead of water, what about a strange black liquid made from hidocarbours like on Titan?

Liquid hydrocarbons are more orange-brownish than black, for a black liquid... I have no idea what that could possibly be. Hydrocarbon lakes are a good idea, though I envisioned it more like a frozen Earth. As for the heat that could melt part of the oceans, Manai could be the cause.

Right, right thank you. I kind of sort of have its image in mind: a slate-like much cooler blue-white icy moon with awesome blue atmosphere and blue-orange-brownish sea/lake shores, and beyond them, orange-brownish liquid hydrocarbon seas/lakes that make your engines have an almost unusable efficiency when touching the liquid.

As much as I love OPM, this mod brings a truly stock-alike feel.

Thank you! Planets were designed from original future planet ideas made by former dev Nova Silisko. The current version is preaty far from how they were supposed to look, but next version is a whole other story!

I actually thought of a snowy, icy moon with canyons, mountains and cliffs. It'd have gaps in the ice here and there that lead all the way to the moon's mantle, which is a global ocean. It'd be a mix of Uranus' moon Miranda, Saturn's moon Enceladus, Slate from OPM and Hoth from Star Wars.

Rrelease has been cancelled for Christmas Day! Up until then, all planets would already be overhauled, science and career intergrated, and all new sweet things added. It will alsi be Christmas Day because we'll alsi bring an easter egg around Ike :wink:... You know... :cool:

And BTW found out that Kerbal Stuff is working for me again so look forward to a massive 2.4.0 release.

Hey. Love the mod. I use this with OPM, Sigma Pluro-Khaton and TK.

I edited some orbits to make some friends for Dres, put some stuff around OPM's Neidon and a couple more things around Plock, but have made no other changes to the cfg files for the planets. I just completed the stock generated 'Explore body' contract for Vix - which I haven't edited at all - but I ran into a an issue. I was able to enter orbit, descend and land on the big crater/flat side with no problems and my probe is visually safely sat on the surface, but according to the game, even though my probe is visually safely sat on the surface, all the science experiments register as 'in space flying above the surface' (on a suborbital trajectory) and the 'Land on Vix' part of the contract won't complete either. It's weird, because the craft is clearly not 'flying' because it doesn't move even after timewarp at the space center. I can't test timewarp while the vessel is active because it's registered as 'flying' at too low an altitude. Very bizarre.

It might be worth noting that the 'Landing Height' (set to Surface') mod said I had reached the surface at around 3000-4000 meters up, while 'Kerbal Engineer' seemed to correspond to what I was seeing.

Wondered if anyone else is having similar problems and if there are any ideas on what the problem could be? Also, what would you need from me to be able to look at the issue?

The issue has been allready fixed in the 2.4 new version I have but as I added more futures, I had a talk with the Kopernicus devs asking if I should release a bugfix to fix therrain bugs now (which I could), or release the whole new version with mind-blowing content on Christmas. What do you think?I'm in a kind of dilema here...

Also, today I started work on the Dwarf Planets. They'll look better than ever! Almost everything in the Kerbol Plus pack has been overhauled or changed by now! So far I've got Kal and Ganag rotating around an invisible barycenter (as they should), and retextured them as well as edited their height map. Stared to also wprk on the new atmospheres. They will take a bit of time trougn...

I would strongly recommend a bugfix release, it would help Kerbol Plus's reputation a lot and save players having to do awkward workarounds.

Well, you're kind of right... I'll release it next week. Will also include a Sarvin atmosphere fix, a realy bad fix, as I haven't even started overhauling the atmospheres. It will only contain terrain fixes.

Also, I have this kind of strange idea... sence we're overauling almost the entire mod, how about also renaming it?

Since this mod introduces all of the celestial bodies the devs wanted to add, what name should be the next? Maybe Kerbol Revived? Nah... Kerbol Expanded? Waiting for your ideas. Must sound good.

BTW I've also been working on a logo for the mod. With this logo I will also create an Amarius Industries forum page where I post all my mods. Kerbol Plus might also have a part expansion! So far I have only finished models for a Fuek tank and an awesome engine, but an ion engine and RTG are incoming. I shouod also remake the heat shield the mod currently adds.

Well, because how my free time works, I realy only have time today, every week, in the morning before school. I could make the terrain fixes in a few seconds and you could too! The hotfix will also contain much clear .cfgs. Don't expect redone atmospheres trough...
