I do not. But no one deserves that quote more than you; your Rubix Cube is amazing!

I *really* need to get the second version up so people can really start using it. It is still very buggy, and I have to basically hand-pick each piece that is magically stuck, by trying to turn all six faces, finding out in the middle of that that there is _another_ quantum-entangled piece, having to go back to the VAB and fix it, then do it all over again. I think I'll work on that right now!

Is an Imgur account required to post pictures?

I seem to remember just copy/pasting in the past, but its been a while.

Thanks!

Imgur is not required, but they must be hosted somewhere. Personally, I use dropbox for quick image hosting and only use imgur when I want an album with captions and all that.

Basically, any image host that will give you an URL that ends in .jpg or .png will work with forum image embedding.

Yeah, you can just copy it into Imgur without an account, works great! Then right click on the image, select "Copy Image", then press ctrl+v wherever you want to stick it. For albums you copy the little string of characters at the end of the URL, press the Imgur icon in the forum editor, and paste them there.

One of the boss guys sends him/her a PM asking if she/he is alright, whether she/he still wants to be a moderator. Often, real life has intervened and the missing mod regretfully say no, he/she no longer has the free time necessary. :( Now and then, though, somebody will take a leave to attend school or somesuch, and we hold the spot.

How much more time do mods have to dedicate to the forums than a regular user would?

I browse when I have the time to, usually checking in more than once a day. We're supposed to be vigilant on the forums but it's not like there's any definite, concrete time allotments we have to be on.

So not really any more time commitment than the average user, then, except you occasionally do moderator-y things instead of just regular user things.

Pretty much. We all keep our own hours with some of us around more than others. I would say it hasn't changed much for me since prior to coming on board. Maybe spend a bit more time to tidy a few things up when I otherwise would have meandered off.

Is it possible for you guys to clear the saved text in an unposted message? Or is there a way for me to do it myself? I accidentally (or perhaps simply absent-mindedly) quoted someone who posted that one absurdly long protein name, and ever since that Chrome lags horrendously whenever I go to that thread (Don't taunt the Magic Boulder). It only happens on mobile, because that's where I did the quote. Thanks!

Go into the reply box and simply remove the contents. After that it should remember an empty reply box instead of that absurdly long name.

But when I click on the reply box it lags and doesn't show the contents! I'm not sure if it ever will! I was wondering if there was some alternative way to do it.
