Hi, this is not exactly a question, but I didn't thought of a better place to do it.

In the page https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/guidelines/ , both the Privacy Policy and the Terms Of Use are still linking to TTWO.

Please send a heads up to the new owners, as this may be - from this point - a liability.

Cheers.

Hi, another one of that "no questions":

A fellow Kerbonaut just realized recently that Forum is back because by some reason their links weren't working, and I'm guessing these links were using "http://" instead of "https://".

I did a test and, in fact, using "http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com" in the URL leads to a non responsive page that eventually time outs.

I don't how bad would be this problem, but the fix is so simple that I really think it should be implemented as soon as possible: setup the ELB to listen the 80 port and do a http 301 permanent redirect to the same URL with "http" replaced by "https". Never did it myself (I'm a old diehard UNIX graybeard that does things by hand), but I think it's just a new listener on the ELB configuration page on EC2.

This happened to me around the 502 era but before the age of darkness. The shortcut I always used stopped working. So I used a search engine to get me a link to the forum and once connected I just created a new shortcut. Has worked since, as long as the forum is actually up.

Yep, but there're probably links using only http scattered around the World for ages by now. It's easier to do a http 301 than trying to fix all of them! :)
