For me the kerbal s are just kids, insanely determined kids, so no.

Also LordFerret, I am never going to use that part again .

Yes, exactly. No romance in my stories, nor (intentional) violence. Kerbals are basically immature kids who just happen to have a space program. As I answered one commenter who thought Bob said a certain naughty word in a comic:

****ed doesn't mean that in my Kerbalverse [...] It can't, since male and female Kerbals don't do smoochy things and no one really knows where new Kerbals come from. Not surprising for a species that needs to go to space in order to figure out how wheels work. In fact, we have no idea what letters those **** are replacing or what that word really means in Kerblish! It's a complete mystery! But yeah, whatever it means, Bob is ****ed.

Closest relationship in my comics is between Bill and Bob, but given the above of course it is a completely bromantic friendship with no smoochy component.

Actually, in the beginning of my career game I focused on collecting science, and kept sending Val and Bob out together. And I've kinda stuck with them since.

While I never thought of them as a couple, they're always my go 2 (pun intended) crew.

Well. I'm transmitting the info to R&D, they are trying to figure out if kerbal love exists and if yes, how does it work and the mechanisms of it. -sound of Commutron 88-88 deploying-

Sadly, I'm amazed this hasn't showed up in the game as a contract mission.

Contractor: Kerbdate.com

We've figured out how to put a Kerbal on the moon, how to put milk in a cow, and how to walk and chew flegyybrago at the same time, but we still haven't figured out the true nature of love. Those at Kerbdate.com, in an effort to spearhead a better understanding of this uncharted frontier, wish to investigate whether or not extremely awesome romantic views yields higher odds for procreation when combined with low gravity fields.

Place two Kerbonauts in a lander can and put them into a stable orbit around Eve. Be sure to bring them back so we can see if there are more than two when the can arrives.

However... IMO, Kerbals are asexual. They just adopt personal fashion styles that get misinterpreted as gender roles by our primitive standards. Given their lack of instinct for self-preservation, I think that if reproduction relied on male+female, they would've gone extinct before the industrial age. :sticktongue:

-opens mission control- clicks R&D contract Kerbal Love? (description: Put a male and female kerbal in a Hitchhiker Can in orbit around Eve. Make sure to bring the back, and tell us if the HitchHiker Can is full.

In my mind, kerbals reproduce biologicaly since in my KSP I ALWAYS TRY TO MAKE SURE THAT MY KERBALS LIVE. There is a reason I wrote something along those lines my blrub.
