Actually I did see one oddity in docking- the RCS thrusters on the tanker got stuck on, until I switched control to the probe core.

Turn the docking window off and it'll stop. It's still a problem.

Whenever I switch from docking mode to flight mode after undocking a craft my thrust goes up to about 1/3rd throttle. I use docking mode to manually RCS away from the mother craft and docks are on the nose so.... As can be expected this = explosions.

Build #198 & #200 have been giving me this...

Occurs at staging. All remaining stage's delta-V are then reported as being = 0. Returning to the space centre and then back to the craft appears to clear up the incorrect display of remaining delta-V for the current stage. When the exception occurs, if I am using Ascent Guidance there is no problem, mechjeb still delivers a normal climb program to orbit.

Found this in logs. Maybe it has something to do with delta-V stats freezes?

MJ 2.1.1 devbuild 200.

Can it dock to a probe, which had been attached to asteroid? It starts to burn all RCS ports, AP status is "Moving towards staring point" and eventually it collides into big rock. Senior docking ports on each vessels. The same vessels docked before just fine using the same autopilot.

EDIT: OK, docked it manually using SASS on both vessels. Cool, my first E-class asteroid.

Build 198 (maybe also others): since last update when using "execute node" in man. planner, MJ warps right until exact node time instead of splitting burn in 2 halfs as it should be (especially painful for long burns) :(

I don't have that issue in build 200, maybe try that one out.

Especially painful for 'match velocities at closest approach', when it start burning far too late and makes you go squish into an asteroid :)

Build 200 has been better, but it's still not very good at rendezvous. Had to manually fine tune the approach.

I just want to say thanks Mechjeb for helping/teaching me to dock. Without you I wouldn't be worrying about asteroids, I'd be more worried about my space debris from unsuccessful docking attempts cluttering up the universe. Long live the Mechjeb, cleaner of the universe.

What do you mean? For me it works fine (except toolbar and freezing delta-v stats). Or maybe it works because it was unlocked before 0.23.5?

When I make several maneuver nodes, in vessel info tab (I manually added node burn time there) it shows total burn time for all nodes. Is that intended behavior?

Err, seems it not just total time but something weird.. Need to investigate further.

Yeah, everything is clean and confirmed 198 from scratch. I've played with MJ set on .1m/s tolerance since I started using it in like .18 or something and never had an issue quite like this. Sure sometimes autopilot would chase a node a little bit, but now it just isn't catching the marker exact. It can be seen best when MJ aligns for a burn. It used to be it wouldn't hit time warp until it was exactly on the marker. Now it seems to have some tolerance. This same tolerance is what is biting it in the ass at the end of the burn I think. Basically, the auto pilot is experiencing what looks like human error. Maybe we're on to something!

I had the same problem with the previous version of Mechjeb. To solve it I went into \GameData\MechJeb2\Plugins\PluginData\Mechjeb2 and deleted all the MechJeb saved ship profiles and it started working again. I'm not sure why it works but it seems to be cumulative and might have something to with the centre of mass not being reset when you re-launch or re-load a ship you have used before which means it doesn't steer the ship properly.

Just a thank you to Sarbian for continuing to update MechJeb!

I would also like to report problems with DeltaV calculations that MechJeb does. It seems to work for a stage or 2 but if you add more it starts calculating the DeltaV incorrectly, (less than it should I think). When you fly whatever you have built the DeltaV display sometimes freezes and stops updating DeltaV or gives up altogether and shows nothing. I suspect it is something to do with the new parts.

Regrding asteroids I would advise people to dock with it manually for now. It is a lot easier than docking with a docking port as you can can dock with any port of the surface of an asteroid. Just arm the grabber, control from the grabber, target the centre of mass of the asteroid and set MechJeb to always point to the target in the target section of Smart A.S.S. Then move forward with RCS using the H key to about 0.2 m/s and using the I J K & L keys move the yellow prograde marker to the centre of the purple target marker on the navball. You can't fail to grab the asteroid this way. Hope this helps!

Even though I have unlocked all options, I still don't get the features. The statistics windows all work fine, but not the rest.

I don't post on here very much, but I wanted to take this time to thank you for continuing to update and support MechJeb. I don't often get a chance to sit down and play KSP, but when I do, MechJeb makes my time with it far more efficient. Thanks so much!

Can someone help me with this mod? I tried searching through the forums. My issue is that the UI wont show up. I attach the control unit in sandbox, I watched several videos on how to install and have tried installing in several directories. The parts do show up. Not sure where to go from here.

Has someone checked against kerbal engenier addon? If not i will do tomorrow.

Don't know if it has been mentioned when autodocking after docking the rcs stays on all axis full throttle for me and can not be shut down. Its the 200# build.
