And if I'm immortal, scientifically, that would probably mean I'd be a cyborg, so I might not even need a spacecraft.

Or I could, you know, live on a superearth around a tiny red dwarf after 50,000 years of exploring the galaxy.

I'd go for some sort of upload immortality.  Then you don't have to worry about being bored, or insane, or crushed by grief; just edit your software self and stop being whatever you don't like.
