Feel free post/repost any and all bugs you've encountered while playing in KSP 1.3. I want to go squishing. I changed this to: REQUIREMENT { name = Facility type = Facility facility = ResearchAndDevelopment minLevel = 1 // invertRequirement = true } This stopped the contract from automatically failing on launch the next time I attempted it. Too complicated on my end to both develop and maintain support for it. I am however more than open to someone else going through all GAP contracts and making it work with RSS. I could come up with additional barns, locations, etc... but in all honesty, GAP was only meant as a proof-of-concept mod, meant to inspire others more dedicated than I, and not for any serious updating. Heh. Maybe that's why I shelved it for the past year. Anyways, I have a hankering to play a career game in KSP 1.3.1, so I better squish some bugs so I can enjoy it. o7 To be honest, I sorta hoped Squad would have adopted the ideas GAP offered into Stock so I wouldn't have to maintain it. heh. ICE/Electric Prop, Jet, Glider , Etc... Examples. Set a new kerbal speed record for a prop or jet aircraft (maintain level and speed for 10 seconds) Set a new duration record. Longest flight with gas engine, electric engine, jet engine, glider. Set a new distance record, maybe even circumnavigate kerbin non-stop! I don't have the faintest idea of the difficulty required to create contracts like those, but varied record-setting contracts would be a cool addition indeed. It seems to be a mod incompatibly problem but i am having trouble narrowing down the culprit. Just in case somebody has an idea what might be causing this here is a list of my Gamedata. In my case this was AtmosfereAutopilot incompartability (Issue #202 on Github), I guess, in @Vrana case there is something similar - one of the mod has changed PartModules to something not included in contract checks. Quoniam Kerman Posted October 8, 2017 Share Posted October 8, 2017 In a way I think in stock contracts, the 'Focused observation in flight around Kerbin' kind of contracts are made for airplanes because adjusting the course of a rocket during take off has always been difficult for me. The first missions objectives are not far from KSC after all, sending a small level 1 aircraft with a few science instruments should do the trick. Never tried yet though. inigma Posted October 16, 2017 Author Share Posted October 16, 2017 (edited) I've run into a slight delay to my playthrough... apparently there aren't any updated mods that give me propellers that I can tweak small enough to fit to make this: https://i.imgur.com/SESYoXm.png but I did find that KAX parts still do work. just out of date. not sure if i can recommend KAX still as part of the GAP update though. I have that installed as well to make VTOLs actually flyable. Sorry, I haven't tried since 1.2.2 and I don't even have KSP installed atm. I could set it up for testing though if I have time, I'd love to help since updated GAP is the main thing I've been waiting for to start a new career game.
