SRB thrust taper off?

I spent some time the past 2 days rebalancing the Kickback and Vector to be closer to real life in terms of how much of the total thrust each contributes to the shuttle's total.

One thing I found that the rocket tended roll over as the SRB neared the end of it's burn, it would be useful to be able to have a more realistic thrust profile on the SRBs, where the thrust would be greatest at sea level, and taper off as it burns, rather than increasing as it does now. Is there a way to do this by editing the .cfg?  Or would it require more intensive modding?

Note it's not that the thrust increases over time, it's that it's constant but is pushing less mass than it did when it started so it seems like there's more thrust. In fact, though, it's the craft's TWR - Thrust to Weight Ratio - that has increased.

Sadly, you can't just edit this with a config as "constant thrust" is just a thing the game does so there is no config to modify. I know of no mods that implement a variable thrust in SRBs but do know the request has popped up several times over the years. I'd assume it's either not that important to any modders, or it'd at least take more time and effort than any modders are willing to invest for the benefit.

In my shuttle I solved this problem in stock by running my fuel line from top most tank to power my vector engin.  This keeps the COM higher and allows the vector to keep putting thrust through the COM  I also tilt my Vectors to about 15o  that seems to be the sweet spot for me.  you can get my shuttle craft file see pics and video of it here (shameless plug.. I know (^^^)

(git) Crzyrndm - VariableThrustLimiter

A really simple mod. It adds a second thrust limiter on every SRB in the VAB/SPH. The stock thrust limiter controls the initial thrust, while the second limiter controls the final thrust. The SRB's thrust follows a linear function of these two values.

I wish i found this mod sooner!:D
