Help with Infernal Robotics?

I was building a plane with foldable wings with the open hinge, but the hinges don't open and close symmetrically.  On one, the bottom plate of the hinge moves, and on the other, the top plate moves.  

Wat do?

No clue, having never used that mod before.

This question seems highly specific to Infernal Robotics, perhaps worth asking this question over in the mod's forum thread?

Well just from how you describe it, was out put on radially or with mirror symmetry?  That's what I would check.

Mirror, and I think it does the same thing for radial but I couldn't see because the wing was attached with mirror symmetry and I can't attach a radial part to a mirror part.

I'll try radial and the mod thread, but even if it does work correctly on radial, I need it on mirror anyways because that's what the wing is.

I disagree.  I've had instances where radial was the only attachment option on a mirrored part.  I ended up having to build it on one side only, then mirror it when completed.  This was on a droptank mounted on a wing.

Thanks Vanamonde, I was gonna do that but I thought it was for installing or bugs or general management, not necessarily gameplay.

The hinges of the IR original part suit have that known bug, Hinges from the modelrework work fine.
I think it was never fixed in any update.
