KSK
Man the graphics for Doom 4 aren't bad at all. Geek joy is when reality starts looking like a set from a sci-fi film! Great picture Cuky - thanks for sharing.

CatastrophicFailure
Not much activity on here lately. For anyone curious, looks like they'll be trying a land landing again for Sunday night's CRS flight. https://spaceflightnow.com/2016/07/15/weather-looks-favorable-for-falcon-9-launch-and-landing/

Kartoffelkuchen
Static fire went good. Weather 90% go for launch. CRS-8 Booster will probably be reflown in fall, they also said that they try to do so with a paying customer.

Pretty much. Musk has things running perfectly now. Only minor scheduling updates, the FH is still under construction for launch, we're about two months out from seeing his mad plan for the BFR, no new information is out... He's made things smooth and organized.

Jovus
I'm getting up to see this. I haven't seen any of the successful barge landings live. It's at 0445 here, and I don't care. They'd better stick the landing or I will be sorely disappoint. Edit: Just found out they're doing RTLS instead. Robotengineer
Not *too* late for me (11:45 my time and I stayed up till 1:00 last night). I missed the first RTLS and definitely want to see this one, (I also think the night launches are cooler).
CatastrophicFailure
I s'pose there are some advantages to living on the west coast. This will be the perfect way to close out the day before bed. So here's hoping for a nice, unremarkable, throughly boring launch!
