Can't wait till the 1.1 version of this comes out, I've only just really found this mod but them cockpits just look staggering, keep it up!

Oh, and on the release thread, I recommend updating the download link since KerbalStuff shut down. :wink:

OH MY GOSH. I loved your cockpits for 1.0.4, even porting them manually in through 1.1 - and these blow all of those away! They look so good. Any plan for the C versions to include the ASET MechJeb SmartA.S.S. controls, or in spaceplane-specific versions?

Also, for even more amazing vintage spacecraft instruments, there are a couple more ASET-style mods these days: @MOARdV's Flight Systems Redux - he's got some amazing instruments that match Apollo and Gemini navball and docking radar functionality, as well as controls to set up MechJeb ascent guidance, and a lot more besides:

There's also @DeputyLOL's B737, including a 737-accurate autopilot control to interface with Pilot Assistant!

It might be well suited to put MOARdV's Gemini rendezvous and docking instruments in the rear station of the Mk1 cockpit A, a combination of those plus a simple CRT MFD for the MLU, and fully integrated docking glass cockpit in the final version. :D

Hey, thanks mate,

Yes, the C versions will include a full mechjeb AP panel.

I was trying to contain the mod dependencies to only ASET and NavUtilities, but may consider it given the excellent props out there.

Really love that 737 props!

BTW, all of those props in FlightSystemsRedux are ASET props.  Alexustas was working on quite a few "Classic NASA" props and some more aircraft-style props last fall and winter before Real Life got busy.  So, you *could* say that FlightSystemsRedux is another ASET props pack. :)  There are a couple of props that would suit your IVA really well:

Those vertical gauges are aircraft-style gauges that are in the FlightSystemsRedux package (VPG and VPG_Dual) with fully configurable text on the sides and bottom.

All of my props are from Alexustas as well, great guy. Even the cockpit model itself.

Some have them have been modified slightly but all of them originate from Alexustas.

Thanks guys, Alexustas is a great guy indeed. I will plan on incorporating the props once theyre published into the core ASET props pack - that way the list of dependencies is short.

I do love those analog gauges and autopilot panel... can't wait to use them!

Feedback please...

How does this look for a digital panel?

Looks pretty good! Reminds me of the engine display panel (whatever it's called) on the center console of a jetliner.

Thanks mate, I was going for that :)

Just finished the throttle body, these panels will go onto MK2 and 3 pits.

So I've noticed that you are making these "packs" that you then add to the cockpit, how are you making those if I may ask? Are you using a separate scene? can you load props without an IVA and save these out to use later?

Hey mate,

im using one scene as my main one for prop arrangement, then save the as a separate scene and load the internal I want to work on. It's kludgy but it works. Downside once you save the internal the grouping of the props is lost, so it remains as a huge prop list :)

makes sense?

The MK2 A flight deck:

S1SG0Vx.png

Video coming soon.

The MK2 A is a mid tier pit, already designed for supersonic, and sub-orbital flight, it includes:

- early MFDs (flight commander)

- KOS terminal

- full AG support

- full SAS support

- navball

Let me know what you think!

It looks amazing! I can't believe how quick you're working on these!

Thank you, the panels were the breakthrough, now that they're done, it only takes 1/10th of the time it normally takes. :)

Actually upon testing, the MK2 has the worst IVA camera placement, I think in effort to make the view a little better to see out the kerbals "eyes" are too high and away from the front panels,

I have to rework the scale of the props in order to combat this. :P

What about reworking the IVA camera? I know @robertlong13 had to change several things to make the Mk3 cockpit more useful.

I'll have to get my skills on for that... :)

You could do an eye offset in the config file for the space. You could probably add it using ModuleManager.

	MODULE
	{
		name = InternalSeat
		seatTransformName = seatCoPilot
		allowCrewHelmet = false
		kerbalEyeOffset = 0, 0.03, -0.01

kerbalEyeOffset = X, Y (Move up/down),  Z (Move fwd/back)

Moving these values too far results in weirdness, like seeing the inside of a Kerbal's head.
