Notice on mod compatibility for 1.1 - list of incompatible mods

RA3236

Recommended Posts

Notice: some mods may not work (i.e. Crash) on 1.1 even though they say they are updated for it, or otherwise another person has updated it themselves. The current list of known mods fitting into this category are:

  • Kerbal Alarm Clock (a fix was put out by a user that is extremely buggy)
  • Dynamic Texture Loader (large memory leak)
  • B9 Procedural Parts Modified (I need confirmation from both a 32x and 64x bit version user for compatibility checks. From the posts I read it is having issues on 64 bit)

If a mod is not listed here but should be, or it is updated, please inform me as soon as possible. I have a feeling a whole lot of people have installed a mod and it fails and they think it is 1.1.

Also can the mod user please check the version is meant to be used in 1.1 before they install it. Thanks.

@RA3236 currently Bluedog Design Bureau is listed on Spacedock as being 1.1 compatible after I mistakenly believed everything to be working fine. It works but users need to get the latest version of DMagic Science Animate for the experiments, and there are some collider issues.

@TriggerAu has merged the forked version into the main repository now and a official 1.1 version released.  Couldn't see any explicit confirmation any bugs had been fixed, just giving you a heads up things might be OK with KAC now.

I'll keep it up just in case.

my 1.1 was getting a bit buggy. I had a feeling it was BDB. Saw it on spacedock as 1.1 compatible so I downloaded it and noticed immediately that some experiments just wouldn't do anything. Also had a problem of not being able to get back into the capsules during EVA. Found the thread and noticed it wasn't for 1.1. Saw a comment about updating the  DMagic Science Animate and the experiments all seemed to work but the capsules still didn't. I took it off but I haven't had a chance to see if everything is fixed.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
