Good space station mods?

I'm really looking for a good space station mod, are there any around? I used to play with Fustek in the past but it is on hold atm. Thanks

Stockalike Station Parts Expansion is a nice mod which adds a lot of station parts. Not updated for 1.1 though, and I'm not sure about compatibility.

A must have for station building.

While it's being updated I tried out HabTech. I've come across a couple minor bugs, but it's a nice pack of all the parts required to make the ISS which of course you can mix and match to create your own unique station.

Porkjet used to have a couple of inflatable hab modules that fit very well with the stock aesthetic. Not sure about compatibility, though.

Tantares has some nice (stockalike "unfortunately" ) well modelled parts to build some DOS and TKS based stations, like Saljut/Almaz/Mir/ISS (russian segments).

Station Science (recently updated for 1.1.2) is my go-to for stations.  It actually gives stations a reason beyond a gas station.

Fus Tek was another great one, but he's been battling the bad laptop monster for a while.  i'd love to see him win that fight and get that one going again.

MOLE is still in development, but it lets you create early to mid game space stations. It has parts to build stations, a Gemini-like command pod, 1.875m fuel tanks, an inflatable space dock (for use with Extraplanetary Launchpads), and more.

Similarly, I have my own work in progress MOL inspired parts for Bluedog Design Bureau. It also has station parts, a Gemini, 1.875m parts etc. I don't have some of the more interesting parts though, @Angel-125 is far better at making parts that have compelling gameplay uses. 

@Angel-125 I find it amusing + fascinating how many similar parts we made concurrently, for example a 1.875m docking port, bigger early game solar panels, etc. I suppose it's just we set out to have stations with similar capabilities, again, prime difference being I'm too lazy to integrate much from other mods.

Working fine in my 1.1 save. A great mod for station building. 

 

Another good one is Kip Engineering's Low Profile Structural Hub Set. Again, not updated, but working fine for me. It has some nice joints and hubs.

Heh, yeah, I had an idea to do the MOL for a long time but the project was always on the backburner until relatively recently. I started fleshing things out when I realized that MOLE could take the place of Pathfinder's orbital elements and save me a lot of duplicate effort. 

There are similarities but that is inevitable given that we all work  from the same source material. That's similar to how there are several ISS mods, some russian station mods, SLS mods, and so forth. It all depends on what people are looking for. The quality of your work is stunning though, I have seen art directions in your work that I would not have thought of given that I still think like an engineer.

Yeah, I suppose so. I'm not sure what you mean by 'art directions' though haha.

Not sure how to describe it. You add details to your work that are interesting to look at and creatively break up the typical cylinder design. It keeps my eyes wandering over the models instead of "yup, seen that" that happens with things I've done. Again not sure how to describe it, but it's one of those things that you know it when you see it.

Oh. Uhhh yeah I don't really know how I'd describe it either. I just sort of make random-ish panel divisions and then go from there most of the time.

Since it hasn't been mentioned...I like the CxAerospace station parts pack quite a bit.  Lots of options and nice models.

Edit- It has been mentioned.  I still like it.

I myself find using the Skylab main Part from MOLE (IVA + Lab Functionality) combined with Airlock+Docking adapter from BDB - maybe some joint operation

The goal is to give the MOLE functionality to my Skylab part so it is essentially just a different model/texture.
