linuxgurugamer
And yet you still haven't given me any real information. OS, KSP version, LOG FILE. Something for me to look at, please!!! I do my best, but I'm not a magician. It would also be helpful if you tell me how you installed it (ie: CKAN, manually, etc) Also, try the following: Uninstall it Delete the entire GameData/JanitorsCloset directory Reinstall it There is a file in there which gets created. The format was changed, it's remotely possible that may be causing an issue. I just reinstalled JC on both a 1.6.1 and a 1.7 install, and it works fine in both of them for me Edited April 25, 2019 by linuxgurugamer

You asked him to try pressing the 4 categories. Which I did and replied with that info. Anyway, I tried uninstalling it an deleting the entire JanitorsCloset directory. Restarted it, then closed it down and reinstalled. Same issue. All done via CKAN. KSP version 1.7, Win10. I dont have the log file. linuxgurugamer
The problem seems to be that the wrong version of the ClickThroughBlocker is installed. I'm looking into that, but for now, use one of the following files: KSP 1.4.5: https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/ClickThroughBlocker/releases/download/0.1.7.1/ClickThroughBlocker-1.4.5-0.1.7.1.zip KSP 1.5.1:https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/ClickThroughBlocker/releases/download/0.1.7.1/ClickThroughBlocker-1.5.1-0.1.7.1.zip KSP 1.6.1 & KSP 1.7.0:https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/ClickThroughBlocker/releases/download/0.1.7.1/ClickThroughBlocker-1.6.1-0.1.7.1.zip If you installed by CKAN, install one of the above files manually AFTER you finish with CKAN. Edit: CKAN has been updated with the correct information. Just an FYI, if I had been able to see the original log files when this first started, I could have fixed it sooner. Please keep that in mind for the future. With all this being done, please try reinstalling via CKAN and let me know the results. If you still have problems, please provide the log file in a location which will allow normal web downloading. aceman67
I'm having the same issue. I've manually installed ClickthroughBlocker and Janitors Closet, I've installed it with CKAN, Reinstalled with CKAN, Overwritten the CKAN installed files with the correct version from Github and still getting the no parts error. Nothing I do fixes this except uninstalling Janitor's Closet. The Mod Filter window is open in the top left hand corner at all times in the VAB/SPH, and does not go away unless closed (even when you exit out to the main menu.) I am just very careful about download programs. @funkcanna and @aceman67 Both your logs show the same error. You both also seem to have much more than 100 mods installed. It's quite possible there is a mod interaction that I'm not aware of, especially since it works in all my tests and no one else has (yet) reported the issue. @funkcanna You have three different versions of the KSPDEV_Utils installed It might be helpful if I recreate an install, if either of you installed most/all of the mods using CKAN, please get me a copy of the exported ckan list. In the meantime, I know what's happening, but not why. I need to understand the "why" before making a fix
linuxgurugamer
@aceman67 You have two copies of Kopernicus.Parser installed Both of you have multiple copies of the KSPDev_Utils installed, I don't know if that's a problem or not. You both have multiple copies of Scale_Redist installed. Again, I don't know if it's a problem or not. One of you has TakeCommand installed, it's not necessary, please remove it
linuxgurugamer
I'm beginning to think this may be something related to the speed of the computer. Could the two of you please post your computer specs: Specifically: CPU model & speed Memory Graphics card Also, if either or both of you could zip up your entire GameData directory (without the Squad folders) and PM me with a download link, that would give me a chance to test your actual setup on my system. linuxgurugamer
For those of you having this problem, please download the following file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vlo963yzn7iry7n/JanitorsCloset-debug.zip?dl=0 I've added some special debugging code to try to isolate the issue. Please replace the dll with what's in here and run the game. It should solve the problem for now, but I need to see the log file after you've gone into the editor and (either successfully or not) seen the parts list. These special debugging statements will be removed once I know what's going on. In the meantime, I'm still waiting for a download so I can test your configurations. As of now it doesn't seem to be a system-speed related issue. Thanks
traisjames
I am dealing with a second issue that probably isn't related to Janitor's closet so I am narrowing down mods.
aceman67
i5 7600k OC'd to 4.3ghz 32GB DDR4 ASUS Dual 8gb GTX 1070 w/ 2130mhz OC EDIT 1 Currently uploading Zipped Game Data folder, just opened KSP with modded DLL file to pull a log for you. EDIT 2 Still waiting on upload, will be done in a few mins. In the meantime, whatever you did to that DLL file made everything work. Log file coming with next edit soon as things are uploaded. EDIT 3https://www.dropbox.com/s/vdu1eya0a6oq1rp/GameData.7z?dl=0 - Game Data filehttps://www.dropbox.com/s/9qlte4z1tsau5nh/janitorscloset_ckan.ckan?dl=0 - CKAN Mods Export File. AutoAGL, Pathfinder and Wild Blue Tools are manually installed.https://www.dropbox.com/s/lb069xf8iwqtl99/output_log.7z?dl=0 - Logfile that was promised. Also, about the KSPDev having multiple installs, I narrowed that down to Kerbal Inventory System not being updated to 1.7 as of yet, and it still running kspdev 1.1, and EasyVesselSwitch and Kerbal Attachment Systems both having KSPdev 1.2 bundled with it. linuxgurugamer
As I said, the dll contained debug code around the problematic areas. I think I actually found the problem. Could you try it again using the following dll: https://www.dropbox.com/s/he44rxu9wh03rco/janitorsCloset-debug2.zip?dl=0 No need to upload the entire directory with this, just the log file. Please go into the editor, and click through all the mod filters, then send me the file. Thanks
