If anyone is interested in making a high detail Saturn V rocket, I found a page that will get right down to the nitty gritty of the rocket with close ups of nearly the entire rocket..

If you're asking for someone to "make" a realistic mod for the Saturn V, you cant get much better than:

But that IS a really nice research source, and I'm sure if CobaltWolf hasnt seen it yet, he'll probably appreciate it.

Isn't FASA-RO version of Saturn V much more realistic and detailed than that?

In some specific ways, yes - the paintjob is slightly more accurate (though less detailed) for example, while mine is more accurate in many other ways. I would say, overall, mine is more realistic and detailed (esp with @_Krieger_'s optional retexture), primarily because it is newer, has a more detailed texture, I was less afraid to put polys in where it matters. I also don't know if the FASA Saturn V has normal/specular mapping on it. I know that my J2s (especially) and F1s (less so) are significantly more accurate - I was rather rudely suprised when I opened up FASA's in my 3d software to get a feel for the objects in 3d. I know that the FASA-stock Saturn V's proportions are very off, though mine still are not correct - the launcher is still a bit small for the Apollo, but there were specific reasons for it. Again, in general, BDB's is more detailed, because we aimed for a higher visual fidelity. We don't have RO configs however, since nobody can be bothered to do them, and most people assume that the FASA Saturn V (and FASA in general) is accurate and detailed, neither of which are particularly true.

If you want the ultimate detailed and realistic Saturn V, I feel that @DECQ's Saturn V is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, though I'm not sure how finished it was left.
