And of course it would be better with the Merlin 1D I asked the same question a while back, and I think the answer I got was that it would cost a lot to re-introduce the Falcon 1, and it was more economically viable to fly those payloads as secondary payloads on the Falcon 9. There's a market, it's just cost-prohibitive, much of that because they have to tag along on someone else's ride, going to someone else's orbit. It starts getting a little complicated when you have Falcon Heavy side boosters that have flown on their own missions...Does the ship have three different names then? I'm just north of Tampa, and on a clear day I can see a launch from here easily, but right now all I see inland are clouds, and a few are pretty dark. But it's only 40 more minutes, so maybe,....
