Shotwell said that they are on track for 24-28 flights this year, but next year will be more like 20, since there was a slowdown in new sat orders last year (order to delivery ~2 years).

Guess the otherwise paid for labor can be used to work on BFR?

Seems legit given that they're on a solid 2 per month cadence at the moment.

SpaceX's Propulsion Chief Technology Officer, Tom Mueller is speaking at the ISDC tomorrow. Since I'll be there, it's possible I could ask questions on this thread's behalf.

Could you ask about:

1) The possibility of multi-day orbital tourist flights apart from the normal Earth to Earth stuff

2) How much the BFR has been stretched

3) Raptor development progress

There's a scheduled Falcon 9 SES12 launch on 31st of May. It'll use a previously flown booster stage. I wonder if it's the recent Block 5.

No, it’s the booster from the Zuma launch back in January. That first Block 5 has many weeks of inspections ahead before it flies again, if it ever does.

Exactly.  Wouldn't that be a lot simpler than a parafoil boat catching scheme?
