tater
Closure at Boca Chica Wednesday, presumably static fire (unless they need to redo cryo).

RCgothic
I did comment that the mystery frame looked like tension members. That's making more and more sense the more of it they build.

RCgothic
I assume it will slip a couple weeks, but still a pretty good turn around. I wonder what the FAA has to say about the SN11 Investigation.

sevenperforce
RIP SN15!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO Spoiler Spoiler I always do my April Fools half a month late. It catches people off guard that way. And that's Tax Day so it's appropriate.
RCgothic
I never find April fools very funny tbh, especially not half a month late. Didn't take me very long to find no evidence of the above, but have to filter out enough fake news without also having to contend with it from trusted sources. SN15 is fine. If I am a trustworthy source 99.9% of the time then it does make that 1-in-1000 prank all the more believable, I suppose. Changing *anything* can hurt things. For example, it says they *may* have been loading too much oxygen. That means they *may* *not* have been loading too much oxygen, right? RCgothic
Back of an envelope calc suggests that's between 130kg and 1000kg extra LOX depending on whether it's extra inches in the cylindrical part of the tank or right at the top of the dome. On the second stage that would be a 1 to 1 payload increase. Even an extra 200kg is significant. On the first stage that's interesting but not really a huge deal. If the same procedure is used on both tanks it could be an error for both. Edited April 16, 2021 by RCgothic

kerbiloid
Spoiler This is also a response on the thread As now the truth is revealed, there are the questions: Any known new contracts between Space-X and Coca-Cola? Any unusual Coca-Cola barrels in Boca-Chica? Any strange guys in face masks, dark sunglasses, and Coca-Cola robes around? P.S.
