They do look pretty in situ though. We don't get this view at 39A!

If it was possible to keep a camera in that angle during the testing campaign that would be the coolest static fire or launch ever

It's partially the fault of the person interviewed not realizing they need to say things in an accessible way,

This is the line of argument I'm going to use the next time some STEM-lord whines to me about having to take Humanities classes.

(My Calc 1A professor also had an art degree; the man was an absolute wizard on the chalk board.)

https://www.teslarati.com/spacex-next-starlink-launch-different-orbit/

The next batch of Starlink from Vandenberg are heading to a 53 degrees inclination orbit, but launches from there can't go lower than 56 degrees without flying over populated areas; this means that now those launches will start performing a dogleg manoeuvre with the second stage to reach the intended orbit. It probably will carry less than usual Starlinks, but better than launching just from the Cape

Surprised that this hasn't been posted here yet.

A new pad at Cape Canaveral, LC-49, is planned to support Starship launch and landing operations. This would give SpaceX two Starship pads at the Cape.

Interesting, also the area above for future horizontal launch systems, assume this will stretch farther west than most pads.

Also worth mentioning, that pad was supposed to be built for Apollo flights: from what I understand NASA planned for pads from 39-A to 39-E, but eventually scaled back to building only 39-B and C and renaming C to A. The to-be-built LC-49 was supposed to be the original pad 39-A

Tried a few browsers, faster on my phone by far.

A little faster on vivaldi and opera than firefox (usual browser), or safari.
