Brotoro
One booster was much better centered on landing.
PakledHostage
That never gets old. I watched it with my four year old son. He's like "meh". I'm like "dude!?"
GuessingEveryDay
Saw it from my home. It was weird because I was looking directly south, then it popped up to the east… The jellyfish was amazing though.
Rutabaga22
First falcon heavy launch for me. I watched Everyday Astronaut's stream, very cool landings.

Ultimate Steve
The saddest thing about Starship is that, if it succeeds, we won't see that many Falcon Heavy launches.
Gargamel
So my girlfriend is on a business trip to Florida, north of Miami, and shortly after arriving at her hotel yesterday, she walked out to the beach to watch the FH launch. And honestly, she caught some of the best handheld, amateur phone video you can ever expect to see of the launch. She said she watched it all the way to the boosters landing, so I think the video got cut off when she texted it to me.
Beccab
Given MLK Jr day and the relatively short notice I'd say full WDR here, but you never know Edited January 16, 2023 by Beccab

tater
I'm not seeing a 90° rotation in those 2 images.

Pthigrivi
And whats the gap filler? If you're getting into custom shapes maybe just make them fewer and larger? Is the heat expansion really that huge? Edit: My guess is because of the necessary hardness the material tolerance of the tiles leads to a max diameter before internal thermal expansion causes them to facture. I'm amazed this is diameter is so small, and that they're worried about them mashing together and buckling or prying off the mechanical fasteners even with cm+ gaps. Level horizon, nice use of negative space ahead of the vehicle, reasonably steady hand, etc. Good job! Be sure to thank her for us. Also really interesting to see how much down range velocity has to be cancelled out in the boost back burn. Screech to a halt then lob them up and back for the ultimate 3 point shot... Awesome! Lukaszenko
Interesting that so many amateur videos of this launch, even cell phone ones, look better than the official SpaceX broadcast. Those ground shots are so much more interesting than watching the booster cameras.
