Mitchz95
Elon again says he wants to name the first ship Heart of Gold, and hints that they choose a new name for BFR in the future. May also use a floating platform to land/launch it. They're not sure yet how much training the passengers will get, will "start a discussion" soon. Less than 5% of SpaceX's resources are devoted to BFR, but will ramp that up soon. Top priority is still satellite launch and Commercial Crew. Ultimate Steve
5bn dollar dev cost, down from 10bn! He doesn't think it's more than 10 or less than 2.

cubinator
The Everyday Astronaut asks the question we all needed! Things at the bottom are confirmed to be configurable as a giant vacuum nozzle. tater
Sea level engines. Swapping out cargo pods for vac engines ups cargo delivery mass.
Mitchz95
BFS still has engine-out capability, only needs 3 engines for landing! When asked when he personally might go to space, Elon jokes(?) that he might accompany Yasuka on the flight... Spaceception
Yay! We saw some hardware! And I think a longer engine test? And so many questions. Gonna need to rewatch the Q&A later.

Especially after two people in a row asking about how much it would cost. Was the raptor in that video throttling?

They can be replaced by vacuum nozzled engines later. Also said that vacuum nozzles wouldnt gimbal. We are proud to announce our first international moon landing, and also the establishing of the first moon base as an mission extension. We are also happy that the landing legs, engines and fuel tank worked very well as crumble zones. Can I interest you in this slightly used booster? I don't think they will need any refueling for this one... They could use the center leg to refuel though.
