Space Kadet
So this seeme to be a fairly common problem, i get it every single time i play, and its a bit tedious. there are lots of requests for help and very few constructive answers, for my part i have had the same issues now since 1.1 and cant figure out what is causing the crashes, i know some of the mods are out of date, but at some point or another they where up to date so could someone please tell me whats actually wrong here, or how to interpret the crash file?KSP: 1,3 64bit on Windows 10 Problem: return or recovery crashes the game to desktop after a few returns, usually 4 Mods installed: Spoiler 21/06/2017 13:33 <DIR> 000_AT_Utils 12/07/2017 19:35 <DIR> 000_FilterExtensions 12/07/2017 19:35 <DIR> 000_FilterExtensions Configs 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> Alba Mod 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> AllGauges-master 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> AnimatedDecouplers 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> ASET 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> Astrogator 04/07/2017 20:00 <DIR> B9PartSwitch 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> B9_Aerospace 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> B9_Aerospace_HX 06/07/2017 18:29 <DIR> BackgroundProcessing 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> BetterBurnTime 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> BuzzardCollectorCRP 12/07/2017 19:22 <DIR> CMES 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> CommunityCategoryKit 10/07/2017 18:13 <DIR> CommunityResourcePack 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> CommunityTechTree 21/06/2017 13:33 <DIR> ConfigurableContainers 10/07/2017 18:13 <DIR> CryoEngines 10/07/2017 18:13 <DIR> CryoTanks 10/07/2017 18:13 <DIR> DeployableEngines 19/06/2017 18:41 <DIR> DMagicOrbitalScience 15/07/2017 20:06 <DIR> DynamicBatteryStorage 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> EasyVesselSwitch 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> Endurance 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> ExtraplanetaryLaunchpads 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> Firespitter 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> FShangarExtender 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> HeatControl 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> InterstellarFuelSwitch 19/06/2017 18:41 <DIR> JanitorsCloset 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> JSI 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> KAS 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> KAS-1.0 15/07/2017 20:07 <DIR> KerbalEngineer 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> KerbalFoundries 12/07/2017 20:31 <DIR> KerbalJointReinforcement 04/07/2017 20:00 <DIR> KerbalReusabilityExpansion 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> Kerbaltek 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> KIS 15/07/2017 20:07 <DIR> KSP-AVC 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> KSPWheel 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> LETech 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> LLL 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> LLL-Extra 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> LockheedKerbinCEV 12/07/2017 20:29 <DIR> MagicSmokeIndustries 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> MarkIVSystem 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> MechJeb2 02/06/2017 17:06 1,348 MechJebAndEngineerForAll.cfg 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> MiningExpansion 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> Mk2Expansion 04/07/2017 19:54 <DIR> Mk3Expansion 07/07/2017 18:14 <DIR> ModRocketSys 04/07/2017 20:00 78,336 ModuleManager.2.8.1.dll 15/07/2017 20:11 17,018,845 ModuleManager.ConfigCache 15/07/2017 20:11 893,403 ModuleManager.ConfigSHA 15/07/2017 20:11 8,882 ModuleManager.Physics 15/07/2017 20:11 69,625 ModuleManager.TechTree 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> NavyFish 10/07/2017 18:14 <DIR> NearFutureConstruction 15/07/2017 20:06 <DIR> NearFutureElectrical 15/07/2017 20:05 <DIR> NearFutureLaunchVehicles 07/07/2017 17:34 <DIR> NearFutureProps 07/07/2017 17:34 <DIR> NearFutureSolar 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> NearFutureSpacecraft 08/07/2017 10:07 <DIR> OPT 08/07/2017 10:07 <DIR> OPT_Legacy 19/06/2017 18:41 <DIR> PlanetaryBaseInc 15/07/2017 22:37 0 print.txt 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> ProceduralFairings 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> QuantumStrutsContinued 06/07/2017 18:25 <DIR> REPOSoftTech 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> SCANsat 07/07/2017 18:11 <DIR> scatterer 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> ScienceRelay 07/07/2017 17:39 <DIR> SETIgreenhouse 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> ShipManifest 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> SpaceDock 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> SpaceY-Expanded 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> SpaceY-Lifters 19/06/2017 18:32 <DIR> Squad 19/06/2017 18:33 <DIR> SSTU 19/06/2017 18:33 <DIR> StageRecovery 19/06/2017 18:33 <DIR> StationScience 19/06/2017 18:33 <DIR> SurfaceExperimentPackage 21/06/2017 13:33 <DIR> ThrottleControlledAvionics 06/07/2017 18:25 <DIR> ThunderAerospace 09/07/2017 18:00 <DIR> Trajectories 19/06/2017 18:33 <DIR> TriggerTech 19/06/2017 18:33 <DIR> TweakScale 19/06/2017 18:33 <DIR> UmbraSpaceIndustries 19/06/2017 18:33 <DIR> UniversalStorage 19/06/2017 18:33 <DIR> VanguardTechnologies 05/07/2017 16:38 <DIR> WildBlueIndustries 14/07/2017 16:58 <DIR> Workshop 04/07/2017 20:00 <DIR> [x] Science! linuxgurugamer
You have so many mods, would be best to remove 1/2 of them, see if it happens, if it does, then you can repeat, if it doesn't then swap the ones which you removed with the ones there and try again. Space Kadet
Ive tried that a few times and have never solved it, thats why i was wondering if someone could see exactly what is wrong from the log. However today is all about trying to fix this!
Space Kadet
So no luck so far with pulling mods, however im sure although this is caused by a mod, its a game issue, because jumping between craft has no problem only returning to the space centre. that and its a bug thats been present since 1.1 at least

Space Kadet
4 minutes ago, linuxgurugamer said: So now take out all mods, then add them back in, a few at a time i wish i could but testing stability takes about 40 minutes to get a crash including the loading screens, then adding and repeating. your talking about 9 or 10 days worth of testing for my modlist, and thats alot of time i was hoping using the log files someone could help me read them and tell me what im looking for because i got these types of crashes in previous versions where iw as using almost no similar mods, i was more mks based. theres alot of errors in the main logfile, and the crash dump seems to suggest theres a memory allocation error the reason im trying to avoid mod deletion at the moment is im trying to get my next video out on my persistant save, so that causes even more issues finding parts and re organising save files. linuxgurugamer
Wish I could help more, but based on what you say, seems like some sort of memory issue. As you say, lots of errors in the logs, which makes it hard to identify a single culprit.
Space Kadet
I have a loose suspicion its something to do with one of the community backbones, like @RoverDude's crp, or @allista's utils because ive had them the longest while almose all the other mods have changed at some point. I just cant figure iut what im looking at in the logs. It has to be a weird conflict too because its common enough to see other people have had the problem, but not enough that anyone has an answer.... i shall keep looking and posting logs every time it crashes, but at the monent i make a point of only playing one launch at a time because of rebooting after a crash. Thanks @linuxgurugamer for your help!
