Not only is it illegal for trampoline man to work with the U.S., it is illegal for him to even enter. Also there are rumors that there is a merger with a corporation that is illegal to do buisness with

In addition to that, he is easily the worst possible person to be appointed head of ANY corporation. Not surprising though, considering the downward trend in Russian space industry since ‘91. He probably won’t do much damage anyway, since there’s not much left to damage, lol

Giant space jellyfish

Can't wait for the UFO fanatics to freak out

Sometimes i want to go to a place near a launch site, just so i can see that happending. But i think we all know that travelling and spending alot of money to see a launch isn't the brightest idea.

Khrunichev Center reduces the staff

P.S.
Btw a very nice picture of an unskinned TKS-derived module (it's bigger if save).
The wide biconical part is partially visible to the right, close to you.
The silver wheel to the left is a rotating holder.
The whole thing is rotated ~15..30° clockwise, so the bottom side is close to you.

So proton production is winding down in favor of anagra, sounds like they are serious about it

Energia is going to test a Progress powered with iodine engines.

Iodine must be great for electric propulsion. Very heavy atoms, can be stored as a dense solid, cheaper than xenon.

32 wooden sticks are more stylish and fancy.

Hard to restart in space however :)
Yes the wooden sticks are genial if you don't need to restart, its easy to over engineer things, you don't need an airbag who can be repacked by driver.
On the other hand laser ignition  has been tested for car engines. Might make more sense for rocket engines as you can keep it on and ignite as soon as fuel flow into chamber.

Hypergolics are incredibly reliable, and given early programs were coincident with ICBM programs, the storable nature (ready to fly at a moment’s notice) mattered.

More complex systems are the luxury of an exclusively exploration focused program.

toxic fuel

Soviets never used toxic fuels for manned missions. NASA did. Titan II GLV used toxic Aerozine 50 / N₂O₄ and made 10 manned missions.
