kerbiloid Posted August 25, 2019 Share Posted August 25, 2019 MS-13 with Skvortsov, Parmitano, and Morgan will undock from Zvezda on 26 Aug at 06:34 (Moscow Time) and dock to Poisk at 06:59 (MT). Currently they are training and unpacking MS-13. MS-14 with Fedor will dock to Zvezda on 27 Aug at 06:12 (MT). Very little amount of propellant has been spent in process. Similar equipment on MIM-2/Poisk (where MS-13 is currently docked) yesterday was just checked, not repaired. Its deep testing and repairing was planned for after MS-14 docking or maybe even after its landing. They decided not to break any circuits but just photo everything, send this to the Earth, then later fix the problem if it exists. Skvortsov said that together with Ovchinin they have examined the equipment, by haven't found any malfunction, so they need to go deeper. Rogozin said that the failed equipment may/will be repaired in a week, it's 10 years old, and is not made in Russia. It should be ready to receive the new expedition on September, 25. It doesn't have a fly, so it can break the tradition of liquiding on the bus wheel. :( Though, it can be put on in 2.5 minutes, and is opened/closed with plastic zippers. Details are partially imported, particularly the special plastic zippers, as the developers "want the best spacesuit in the world, so take everything best in the world". A shadow shield is not strictly required, nor does it have to be mounted directly on top of the reactor.
