Recommended Posts

Well, the info is it happens in stock plus that I've tried that I know that it is not module manager. I've tried deleting it from steam the uninstalling and reinstalling it but that does not work either do you have any ways to fix it or not because it as really interrupting my videos and my missions (Mainly inter-planetary)  and it will be helpful if someone can help me.

hopefully, there is a method

well the best way to resolve it would be to do the following steps without me knowing the exact issue...

  1. Remove all mods then test...
    1. If it crashes still then your install might be corrupt, verify integrity of cache on steam or if no Steam, uninstall then reinstall
    2. If it stops crashing then a mod is the issue, you can test one bby one until you find the bad mod
  2. If your problem still occurs then you have an issue with windows (assuming you are on windows) then that is a worse issue and who knows what you may need to do or maybe graphics card or memory issue, not sure

Obligatory link to:

On that, I hear that the logfile location has changed with 1.4.x (though the OP doesn't say what release we're talking about here), Is that thread still correct?

The "method" is to a) post system details, list of mods and logfile, and b) try to isolate the problem by starting from an unmodified game and adding one mod in at a time until the problem reappears.
Asking if anyone has any "ways to fix it" is pointless if you don't provide enough information to figure out what is wrong. Nobody can fix what they can't diagnose.

Are you running KSP in 32bit Mode? If yes and you have making history (and/or multiple mods) installed the crashes are most probably because KSP ran out of memory. At least that was my problem when my KSP crashed very often.

Try to run KSP in 64bit mode.

@stubbonjeb

If you do reinstall, and IF you had installed mods (sounds like you did), and IF you are installing via Steam, you MUST delete everything in the directory AFTER  using Steam to uninstall it.  Stuff gets left behind by mods which Steam doesn't clean up.
