If the British money is "pound sterling", and the "sterling" is probably an old small silver coin, why the American one is not "pound dime"?

But no, it's "dollar" from "tolar" from "Joahimsthal" where "thal" is "valley".

So, literally Americans count values in valleys...

What if.

Predators evolved from facehuggers.

Like a bunch of eggs left on a planet for a long time without any suitable hosts.

Just look at that face. Also the hunting for sport thing, instinctive.

Thats it, thats all I got.

American, can confirm. My family owns three valleys up in the Pacific Northwest. They're my entire inheritance. I'm just glad I'm not stuck with Death Valley :p

I have a feeling that similar stereotypes happens elsewhere in the countryside...

That sounds like fun. A big ol’ heap o’ fun. I’d request some junk to tear into, like old cars, RVs, shipping containers, old structures....

Also gives me a reason to go to Vegas, since I’m not big on gambling and there’s only so many shows that would interest me...

Forget the fundamental forces, there is no force stronger in this universe than the one holding two 5 gallon buckets together.

I'm afraid I disagree. Don't get me wrong, it is a really strong force...

But there is something out there far more sinister. It's that plastic device that holds the bottles of sodas together when you buy them at the store. And they are "smart plastic." Whenever you try to break a bottle free, it takes a pair of scissors, bolt cutters, or any other sharp utility tool. But there are those that as soon as you pick them up out of your car to take inside, the "smart plastic" decides - at that exact moment - to allow the bottles to break free from its grasp and fall to the ground.

Earth is just a breadcrumb that found itself in conditions too warm and too wet for too long, so life started growing all over it like a mould

That would imply panspermia. The back seat of my wife's car would support that hypothesis.
