How many planet packs can you put in a single KSP save?

Sooo what's the loading time? In my experience every single planet pack I tried to add added at least few minutes for total time so I'm curious.

To add to that, how many bodies are there total?

And what's your RAM usage?

No FPS change, About 20 minute loading, idk about the RAM usage.

For my average session of two to three hours, 20 minutes of waiting is painful Still, full universe pic plz.

I kinda got rid of the planet packs because it took too long to load, so this thread is dead.

woudnt it be nice if the textures for planets loaded when you get into its SOI?

Then you wouldn't be able to see the mun's texture from kerbin.

Perhaps a low-res texture?

Thats called Kopernicus OnDemand Loading, it unloads the textures that are not visible or required to build the terrain - but the planet packs have to support it.

Im just going to @The Cuttlefish Empire for this thread, since his collection is quite impressive.

 @Alaygrounds real men players use all of Before Kerbin, not just part of it.

The true question to be asking here, though, is "How many planets can fit into a single GameData?"

The planet packs you listed are, for the most part, quite small, and I would estimate that my GameData totals in planet number somewhere around 250
