"Research orbital construction study at Mun" contract isn't working

Recommended Posts

So I accepted a contract earlier, it's an orbital construction study. (The agent is StrutCo) I didn't know what it wanted, but I accepted because of the science reward. So here are the criteria for completion.

1 Transport experiment to Mun (notice it doesn't specify which one, I thought I got a new experiment, like with engine tests, but I got no new experiments).

2 Satisfy all experiment conditions - check experiment for details (I got to the Mun, and the first criteria had the green checkmark, but I right clicked on every part of my spacecraft, and did every experiment. Nothing)

3 Complete experiment (?? How?)

4 Land or splash completed experiment on Kerbin.

So I though "Hey. Land it on Kerbin! Maybe it'll all go green when I do that!"

Nope.

So then I looked at the contract again. Turns out the text changes each time you look at it. This time it was talking about how volatile solid fuel was. So I strapped on a couple fleas, went to the Mun and *jazz hands* nothing. What gives? Why is it so vague and why does it change each time you look at it? I'm not sure if it's a modded contract, since I haven't played career a lot.

So how do I complete the contract?

If it is modded contract, here's every mod I have.

Near future electrical/launchers/propolsion/solar/spacecraft

Kerbal Atomics

Heat control

Stockalike station parts expansion (all of the above is @Nertea

JX2 Antenna @Snark

Deep space exploration vehicles @Angel-125

Mk2 stockalike expansion @SuicidalInsanity

The contract is added by "WildBlueTools", which you most probably have because you installed Deep Space Exploration Vehicles.

Go here: https://github.com/Angel-125/WildBlueTools/blob/master/GameData/WildBlueIndustries/000WildBlueTools/Experiments/BasicExperiments.cfg

Hit ctrl+F, and type in construction

You'll find the experiment definition and a list of parts that are required to do it. Now, I'm not sure if you need all of them, or a specific one as defined by each individual contract, or if any one will do. You'll have to check that yourself. But usually, required parts do show up in the contract description.

Thanks!!

I don't think I have any of the required parts unlocked though... I'll have to check.

Well, like I said, it was vague, so I have no idea. Thanks a ton though :)
